MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Involve in preparation and execution of maintenance plans and troubleshooting of rotating

equipment.

Prepare & implement overall predictive maintenance program (OPdM) for Condition Monitoring,

Reliability Assessment and Enhancement of critical machines of the plant. Program covers

implementation of all predictive maintenance (PdM) tools, personnel training, procedures of

equipment selection, trend analysis, Provide required feedback for revisions of preventive

maintenance procedures and schedules.

To develop Vibration Alarm and Trip limits for rotating equipment based on ISO/ ASME standards.

To identify the possible causes of high vibration using vibration data trending, spectra & time

waveform.

Develop Data Collection and Analysis Procedures for Vibration Analysis, Motor Current Analysis,

Ultrasonic Sound Detection, IR Thermal Imaging and Wear Metal Analysis.

Conduct awareness session for rotating engineers, condition monitoring technicians, reliability

engineer & production teams about the benefit of latest condition monitor tools & technologies for

reliability culture.

Develop Corrective Action System (Laser Alignment System) & training to new assigned persons.

Perform vibration survey data during commissioning of equipment to ensure that standards are

met.

Provide field services support to the plants for their rotating equipment during the scheduled

inspections and troubleshooting and to assist plants in identifying solutions to the mechanical

maintenance problems utilizing various condition-monitoring techniques and equipment and to

discuss with Original Equipment Manufacturers and monitoring equipment manufactures the

solutions to ensure effectiveness.

Evaluate equipment manufacturer’s recommendations regarding condition monitoring

requirement and recommend / implement modifications aiming at the improvement of the

reliability and performance of the rotating equipment.

Assist Condition Monitoring Technicians in all technical issue in daily business.

Identify required tools/software/accessories for diagnosis and ensure their readiness.

Ensure periodic vibration equipment database is set up correctly and adequately as per best

practices.

Issue monthly machinery health assessment report of rotating equipment.
