Application areasthermosept® NKP is used as neutralizer during the automatedreprocessing of surgical instruments after alkaline cleaning inorder to avoid propagation of alkaline residues. Furthermore,it can also be used for acidic pre-cleaning, as a basic cleanerfor instruments and machine interiors and as a cleaner in amanual immersion bath. When applying thermosept® NKP,make sure that the items to be cleaned and reprocessed areacid-resistant. thermosept® NKP is suitable for use in washer/disinfectors and multichamber waher/disinfectors.
Instructions for useDosage:after alkaline cleaning: 0.1 - 0.2 %, i.e. 1 - 2 g/l. Dosing isperformed by machine-integrated dosing pumps.Basic cleaning of instruments and machine interiors:• as an acidic pre-cleaner: 0.2 - 2 %, i.e. 2 - 20 g/l
• basic cleaning of instruments and machine interiors. 4 %,i.e. 4 g/l
• as a cleaner in a manual immersion bath: 4 %, i.e. 4 g/l
thermosept® NKP is not suitable for coloured metals,chromium plated parts and anodized aluminium. Please makesure that the items to be cleaned, the machine and the drainsare acid resistant. Using demineralised water for final rinsing isrecommended and improves the rinsing result. thermosept®NKP can be used in washer/disinfectors and multi-chamberwasher/disinfectors. Please note recommendations ofmachine and instrument manufacurers.
