IN 1972 I published a method of repairing ischial pressure sores by means of a flap from the scrotum. This has provided stable and so far permanent cover. The present condition of the flap illustrated in the 1972 article is shown in the Figure.

I t is worthy of mention that in this case the ischial tuberosity was not resected.
