SPLASH OF SCIENCE CAMP (Brought to you by Cranbrook Institute of Science)Join us for one unique camp experience where campers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of different topics including physics, chemistry, astronomy, and geology. Campers will work hands on with a counselor from Cranbrook Institute of Science where they will mix, tinker, test, fold, and dig through a variety of different areas of focus. TCH SUMMER CAMP AFTER CAMP CAREOur Summer Camp program provides after camp care for our campers who attend the afternoon Camps. We will have activities to keep your campers happy and entertained! Aftercare begins at 3:00pm and lasts until 6:00pm. Pre-Registration is required. Rates: $20 per day/$90 per weekCampers being picked up after 6:00pm will be charged a late fee of $5 per every 10 minutes after 6:00pm. This fee must be paid at time of service or will automatically be charged to your credit card.

JUNIOR DIVISION CAMP(Grades 3-7, Beginning or advanced)Be part of a complete musical theatre show. All musical theatre elements are present: singing, dancing and acting. Campers are guaranteed lines in the show and there are advanced opportunities in character parts for the older, advanced or returning students. There are large group and small group scenes and songs. Ensemble work is emphasized. Learn about the theatre, how to put a musical together, play games, and basically have a ton of fun! 2 weeks MON-FRI 9:00am-3:00pm $478

SENIOR DIVISION CAMP(Grades 7-12)If you are an actor, singer, or dancer who has attended other camps or has had some previous theatre training you will enjoy this camp. It consists of scene study and character analysis as well as theatrical games and historical theatre study. All will have character parts in the Senior Division scene work. Part of the day improves the actor’s skills and the rest of the day consists of putting together a musical theatre revue. Musical theatre history, games, technique, style and vocal study are emphasized. The show has act one as scene work and act two is a musical revue. It is an advanced combination of solo work as well as small group and company numbers with advanced rhythms and harmonic elements implemented. Much fun for all! 2 weeks MON-FRI 9:00am-3:00pm $478

CAMPSSO YOU WANT TO BE A YOUTUBE STAR CAMP (ages 10+)Have fun filming, acting and producing your own YouTube show. Learn what it takes to be a star and express your creativity and personality to the world. You will learn how to use basic lighting, editing and sound production. We will develop ideas for your show together and upload them to your own account. By the end of the week you will be a star and we will have a final show for our friends & family celebration! TCH SUMMER CAMP LUNCH CLUB!Is your child joining us in camps all day at TCH? Sign them up for our Lunch Club program where campers will get to enjoy a great lunch prepared by our kitchen staff. This is available to all campers and can be added to registration when you sign up for camp. DANCE ACADEMY SUMMER CAMPS PRINCESS DANCE CAMP(ages 5-8)This summer send your child to TCH Dance Academy for an amazing fun time! Dance, Music, Games and Crafts. Little or no dance experience required.MON-FRI, 8/1-8/5, 9:30am-12:00pm, $150

CHOREOGRAPHY CAMP(Grades 6-12)intermediate to advanced dancers with a minimum of 3 years ballet or contemporary training Project based learning couldn’t be more fun than creating works of dance art. The day begins with a technique class in ballet or contemporary followed by lessons in composition. Students then collaborate with other dancers to bring their creation to stage. Camp will include daily technique classes, pre pointe/pointe and repertoire: classical and contemporary, jazz, conditioning, stretching classes. CAMPSFASHION DESIGN CAMP(Ages 8+)Students will learn to sew while designing their own summer shirts. Students will learn: clothing construction, how to operate a sewing machine, use various sewing tools, designer terms and definitions, use fabric markers and paint, clothing design principals and much more! CABARET CAMP (Grades 5-12)This camp is one week of fun-filled singing and dancing for the intermediate or advanced vocalist who has gone to a Junior or Senior session of Theatre Camp at TCH and wishes to advance their training. Other students may be admitted by permission of the instructor. Camp includes an emphasis on technique, style, projection, interpretation, and musicality. AMAZING ATHLETES SPORTS CAMP(Ages 4-6)An educational sport and fitness camp where each student will learn the basic fundamentals of the following nine sports: football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, golf, tennis, lacrosse and hockey. Each day will be dedicated to 2 to 3 sports and will provide hours of fun while still focusing on motor development skills! CAMPSSELF DEFENSE & SAFETY CAMP (Ages 5-10)Have fun and learn to be safe at the same time! Cartoons, physical and classroom activities, and expert guest are just some of the fun ways that children will learn. Please bring a snack. 2016 TCH Summer Camp REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTER ONLINE at www.tchserves.org: Registrations are taken on a first come, first-served basis. Receipts AND ALL CORRESPONDENCE are sent by email ONLY - please make sure we have your correct email address on the 2016 Summer Camp Treatment Permission Form. REGISTER EARLY- SPACE IS LIMITED

CAMP CANCELLATIONS:The most common reason for cancellation is low enrollment. TCH reserves the right to limit the enrollment or cancel any camp or class due to insufficient registrations. Every effort will be made to notify registrants that a camp has been cancelled. Notification of cancellations are sent via email. Any person registered in a cancelled camp due to low enrollment will receive a full refund or may transfer to another camp, if spots are available. The Community House will not issue refunds for camps that have been postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such camps.

NO REFUNDS or prorated fees will be given for campers arriving after the start of camp or leaving before its completion. Should a camper cancel or request a switch once camp begins, a processing fee of $12 will be assessed per camper/per switch. Availability in another camp is not guaranteed.

CAMP LOCATION CHANGES:The Community House reserves the right to change a camp's location due to unforeseen building closures or scheduling conflicts. You will be notified by email if any changes occur.

DISCIPLINE POLICY:The Community House is open to all and strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for campers and staff. Abusive behavior that is harmful to one self or others will not be tolerated. If such behavior is noted, the camper will receive a warning and the parents will be notified. If a second offense occurs, it will result in immediate expulsion from camp. Absolutely no refund will be given.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO POLICY:Occasionally a photographer may take pictures of students for use in TCH publications or local media publications. If you do not wish publication of a photograph of your child, it is YOUR responsibility to send a written request to the Programs & Enrichment department prior to the start of camp.
