Preliminary Checks before Starting Operation AUTO The live screens are automatically switched in the order of (CH1 CH2 CH3 CH4 ) at the predefined switching interval. Before Power up, be sure to check NTSC or PAL and select the right monitor out put between Composite and VGA by using the switch on the rear panel of the unit. MULTI or Single Screen Press the ENT button, then the four connected channels are displayed on the quad split screens. Press a channel button to see the respective channel only on the screen. 3. Users can enter a desired search date and time and press PLAY button to playback. REW : Backward Playback. Speed at 1X, 2X, 4X F/REW : Jump Backward. Playback position moves 1 minute backward PLAY/PAUSE : Press to Play and pause the Playback screen F/ADV : Jump Forward. Playback position moves 1 minute forward FAST : Forward Playback. Speed at 1X, 2X, 4X 2. Recording Press the REC button to start or stop recording. REC lamp located on the top of the REC button will display recording status. SAMSUNG SVR-440 provides several different recording methods. You can easily select and set any recording method that is most suitable for your environment or needs.

Step 1 : Set Record Setup

Step 2 : Set the details of recording setup MODE : Select one of four recording methods

* N/O : NORMAL OPEN Type SensorN/C : NORMAL CLOSE Type Sensor

Select RECORD SETUP Left/Right button Up/Down buttonKey Button

3. SENSOR SETUPInputs detected and transferred from external sensors are identified as events. Select the switch type of a sensor connected to each channel.

4. Copy(back-up)Back-up the contents of HDD to USB memory stick for backup. Both of Still image and Video can be backup. Maximum backup time of Video is up to 999 seconds.

1. While monitoring, Press Select YES to store the image into HDD

2. Press and select desired date press

press copy button to Insert USB memory stick

1. During the Playback, Press press

Select Video or Still image

2. Select desired date and press Insert USBmemory stick and press copy button
