TViXiE Quick Guide This guide quickly goes through the basic functionality of TViXiE. 

TViX Preparation First you need to setup the folder and file structure on your TViX media player. The most suggested model is having the following structure: 

S:\music\     

S:\photo\     

S:\video\  Hancock\   

    Hancock.ISO 

  Wanted\   

    Wanted.ISO 

  Rambo IV\   

    RamboIV.ISO 

  Ratatouille\   

    Ratatouille.ISO

 ViXiE Movie Info Gathering Process 

t your TViX model from the drop‐down list (default is M‐

>Open to select your TViX video folder. t 

TStart TViXiE by double‐click on tvixie.exe. Go to Tools‐>Options, under General selec6500A).

You can check the “Folder View” checkbox to get the following view 

 

To get movie information you simply select the folders you want to gather movie information from and right‐click your mouse and choose “Get Movie Information…” from the menu list. 

 

Select a template from the template list. Then you need to select the different movie info providers you want to get information from. You need to select in the Cover list, Movie Info list and the Rating list. Then press the Get button and TViXiE will go out to the selected providers to gather movie information.

 Note that the movie info gathering process will be quicker the fewer providers you select, so please keep them to a minimum. 

If TViXiE finds your movie you will be presented with a dialog from where you need to choose the cover you want to have, from which provider you want to have your info from and finally select from which provider you want to have your rating. Then press OK and TViXiE will generate a cover picture and a background picture with the information you have selected. 

 Move your mouse over the cover picture to see its resolution. Most likely, the higher resolution the better quality of the cover picture.

After the gathering process you will get a summary of the collection process, press Done if are satisfied. Then you will see the result as 

 

And if you double‐click any folder you will see the generated background picture.

If you want to edit the information gathered by the movie info providers afterwards simply right‐click anywhere on the background picture and choose “Edit Movie Information…” from the menu list.
