If you have the budget almost anything can be achieved. The Society will be visiting Quantel in Newbury to see Pablo - which is one of Quantel's latest products for Post Production Grading. As well as a presentation by Quantel, there will also be some practical tests to see what can be achieved by Pablo using material shot by STLD members. By Road (M4/A34 Southbound)

Leaving the M4 at J13, follow the A34 until sign posted to Newbury & A339. Proceed down the A339 until you reach traffic signals. Through the trafficsignals, take the first left onto Shaw Road - sign posted B4009 to Hermitage. At the roundabout, take the right exit on to Kiln Road. Follow Kiln Road whichbecomes Turnpike Road, Quantel is on your left after 1Km.

By Road (M3/A34 Northbound)

Leaving the M3 at J9, follow the A34 until the Tot Hill junction - sign posted to Tot Hill Services. At the top of the slip road, turn right onto B4640. At the nextroundabout take the first exit up the hill, sign posted A339. Follow A339 through Newbury going straight over 3 roundabouts (first near Tesco, secondHalfords, third Sainsbury). At the fourth roundabout, take the third exit onto Shaw Road - sign posted B4009 to Hermitage. At the roundabout, take the rightexit on to Kiln Road. Follow Kiln Road which becomes Turnpike Road, Quantel is on your left after 1Km.

By Rail

Direct rail links to Newbury run frequently from London Paddington. Services from London Waterloo to Reading, where one can change onto commuterservices to Newbury are also available. London Paddington hosts connections from London Underground lines and the Heathrow Express - running every15 minutes from London Heathrow Airport.
