sponsoring two seminarians in a national

program called Refund Support Vocations

Program (RSVP). The program financially

supports seminarians through one year of studies.

Our current seminarians are highly motivated in

their studies. Seminarians are not paid, and rely

on this charity for items such as phone cards, and

other daily essentials.

COMPARTIENDO EL EVANGELIO

San Marcos (12,38-44):

Queridos hermanos, así termina el evangelio de este domingo: «Os aseguro que esa pobre viuda ha echado en el

arca de las ofrendas más que nadie. Porque los demás han echado de lo que les sobra, pero ésta, que pasa

necesidad, ha echado todo lo que tenía para vivir.»

La Palabra nos cuestiona acerca del valor de la humildad, actitud que nos permite tener en alta estima a los otros

antes que creernos más que los demás.

El ejemplo de la mujer que ofrenda lo poco que tiene de una forma silenciosa agrada más a Dios que la actitud de

los ricos que daban su ofrenda haciendo gran ruido y alardeando.

Este texto podemos relacionarlo con la bienaventuranza que dice: “Felices los pobres de espíritu, porque de ellos

es el reino de los cielos”. La pobreza en sentido bíblico es la capacidad de donarse, de estar desprendido, de

reconocer que nuestra única riqueza es Dios.

Que tan generoso o ambicioso eres? Compartes con tu iglesia lo poco que tienes, o no ofrendas nada porque

piensas que como eres pobre eso no aplica para ti?. No olvides que se trata de compartir lo poco o mucho que

tengamos y que tu mano derecha no sepa lo que hace tu mano izquierda.

Oración: Señor, lléname de la fuerza de tu Espíritu Santo, para que pueda liberarme de mis egoísmos y salir al

encuentro de mis hermanos que necesitan ser amados y reconocidos en su dignidad. Amen.

ATENCION PAPAS Y MAMAS

Diversos estudios científicos enfocados en analizar los efectos que tienen los dispositivos electrónicos en

los cerebros de los menores de edad, han demostrado que su uso prolongado provoca daños importantes

en su desarrollo.

Al concentrarse tanto en lo que tienen en la pantalla, los pequeños pierden interés en las interacciones

humanas, así como en la exploración del mundo que los rodea. Todo el tiempo que dedica un niño al uso de smartphones,

tabletas y videojuegos, los aleja de aprender cosas nuevas a través de juguetes didácticos que fomenten el desarrollo de sus ca-

pacidades cognitivas, intelectuales y motrices.

ACTIVIDADES PARA CRECER ESPIRITUALMENTE

1. El próximo Sábado después de la Eucaristía tenemos la Adoración ante Jesús Sacramentado.

2. El tercer martes de cada mes a las 7pm estas invitado a participar de la Hora Santa, un espacio de encuentro con Jesús,

ven y trae tus intenciones. Saldrás muy fortalecido.

3. Para quienes solicitan el bautismo para sus hijos, es importante tener en cuenta que los padrinos deben ser personas que

tengan un vivencia de fe que sean personas de testimonio y que hayan recibido los sacramentos. Antes de elegir padri-

nos asegúrese de que cumple estos requisitos.

Diz-nos que os escribas e fariseus fazem

ostentação da sua suposta bondade. Dão

esmolas, tocando a campainha; rezam no templo

à frente e em tom de grandiosidade; ocupam os

primeiros lugares, etc.Acautelai-vos dos escribas.

Eles gostam de passear com longas vestes e de

receber cumprimentos nas praças. Querem os

primeiros assentos nas sinagogas e os primeiros

lugares nos banquetes.Logo a seguir, S. Marcos

conta-nos a história da viúva que, dando a mais

pequena das moedas, dava tudo quanto tinha. Foi

uma atitude que Jesus apreciou e dela fez o elogio

aos seus discípulos. A esmola da viúva, modesta

no seu valor, foi a de maior significado. A Miser-

icórdia é uma virtude moral pela qual uma pessoa

se dedica à outra com compaixão, dando ajuda

espiritual e material na medida das suas posses.O

mérito não está na grandeza ou pequenez da

nossa oferta à Deus. Mas sim em como o

fazemos.Jesus sabe daquilo que eu e você

podemos doar. Ele acredita no meu e no teu

potencial e preparou muitas coisas que somente

eu e você pode resolver. Mas eu e você ainda não

demos tudo o que podíamos e por isso continua-

mos amarrados, muitas vezes infelizes. Não se-

jamos egoístas, mas generosos. Diga o teu sim e

dê tudo àquilo que você pode e deve dar. Siga o

exemplo da viúva e veja como ela agradou a

Deus. Se assim fizeres também a tua oferta será

agradável a Deus! Senhor Jesus, dá-me pureza

de coração, para que todas as minhas ações

sejam marcadas pela sinceridade e por um amor

verdadeiro ao Pai.
