Dear Fr. Bill & Parishioners, Land of Peace Mission would like to express humble appreciation to you for allowing us to visit your church on the weekend of November 1-2, 2014. With you kindness and through the generosity of your parishioners, the sales of the olive wood carvings received through Jerusalem Christian Families totaled $3,950.00. The total donations for the Catholic Hospital in Bethlehem was $374.00 It was with great excitement for us to observe so many kind people at your parish, who were interested in our religious articles and some expressed their intention to visit the Holy Land when the peace prevails. Please remember that you, and the members of your parish are included in our prayers. Again, thank you for your support in helping us and our brothers and sisters in Christ with compassion, dignity, and respect. May you enjoy God’s many glorious blessings. Peace be with you, Noel Alshomali, Director, Land of Peace

MEALS ON WHEELS VOLUNTEERS Volunteers are the backbone of our Meals on Wheels Program. Not only do our volunteers deliver meals to our homebound seniors they also deliver a warm smile and a friendly greeting when they arrive at the door. Drivers pick up meals at a central location, and then follow a specific route making several stops along the way to our homebound seniors. Routes take approximately 1 hour. As a volunteer driver you can volunteer as often or as little as your schedule will permit. We are in desperate need of drivers to deliver food to our homebound seniors. Our specific need right now is in the Pinckney area! For more information please contact: Carol Zastrow or Lucy McKinnon at 810-632-2155 or email: [email protected]
