When you look upon the Sacred Host, YOU LOOK UPON JESUS, the Son of God. “ In-deed, this is the will of My Father, that eve-ryone who looks upon the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life. Him I will raise up on the last day.” ( Jn. 6: 40) In the Garden of Gethsemani, before His crucifixion, Jesus asked His Apostles, “ Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?” Spending one hour with Jesus thus became a tradition in the Church. Our Daily Bread

Thanks to your generous donations year to date we have made and distributed 34,086 sandwiches. Since the inception of Our Daily Bread 115,709 sandwiches have gone to feed those in need.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

This year we will celebrate The Feast of Our Lady of

Guadalupe on Monday, December 11, 2017. Mass that day will be at 6:00 p.m. After Mass there will be a live reenact-ment of Our Lady’s Apparition to Juan Diego. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patroness of both our diocese and The Americas. Let us all join together at this feast to honor her.

Volunteer Opportunity Sacristan Do you wish to know the Lord more through concrete details of the sacristy? Gain knowledge of the Mass more deeply, be informed of all the vessels used for the Holy Sacrament of the Mass, and discover the how and whys of the liturgical year and the solemni-ties, If you have just an inkling of interest for any of these and are a person with attention to details with a passion for the needs of the church, then this might be for you.. We are looking for a few sacristans to help with the 4 p.m. Mass and the 9:00 a.m. Mass. If you are interested or have questions please either speak to Grace after Mass or call 928-753-3357 ex 213.

Second Collection Next Week In this weeks bulletin you will find envelopes for next week’s Second Collection for Retirement Fund for Priests and Religious On a national level 50% of this appeal provides funding to qualified religious institutes in the U.S. Approved by the conferences of major superiors and bishops, it distributes funds based on a financial formula and criteria. 50% of the funds received for this appeal re-mains in the Diocese of Phoenix to assist with the needs of senior diocesan priests in their re-tirement years.
