CHURCH CLEANING
TEAM D
WE ARE BLESSED!
Here at Our Lady’s we have a dedicated team of M.C’s and servers who,
week in and week out, serve the altar with care and enthusiasm. It has
been suggested that in the hot weather we might make concessions with
regard to the dress code in order to minimize the risk of fainting and
dizziness. This is something we might explore in the coming weeks. At the same time the servers are put in a difficult position at some of our
Masses when they are left to bag up the collection without proper
supervision. It would appear that last week’s 10am 1st collection was
misappropriated, though not at that time as I myself helped to bag it
before placing it in the safe. Can I remind collectors to nominate an adult to attend to the bagging of
the collection immediately the Mass is over. It only takes a minute and
the servers will help, but they should not be put in the position of having
to do it by themselves. It is not their job!!

Don’t forget - the Parish AGM will be held today after
12pm Mass in the large hall. I look forward to seeing you there!

FOUND!: Among the milk-bottle tops I collected from church last
weekend, I found a rather nice comb, with a pink & grey moulded
plastic handle and steel tines. It was clearly in the bag in error and is
now on the "lost property" shelf at the back of church. Andy
