Stewardship … A Way of Life

Like the sower in today’s Gospel, I scatter as seed my gifts of time, talent, and resources; and I trust that, by God’s grace and in God’s time, these small gifts of myself may grow and flourish and help to bring about the kingdom of God.

I Brian Roffers & Stephanie Verhasselt

Fiscal Year End

As our fiscal year comes to an end, please remember that all contributions should be turned into the Parish Office by Friday, June 29th. Thank you.

Pastoral Message

We Aspire

“Therefore we aspire to please him [the Lord], whether we are at home or away.

For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each may

receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.” (2 Corinthians 5) Wherever you may roam this summer, remember that we aspire to please the Lord. The kids at Saint Nicholas enjoyed Vacation Bible School last week with the theme: Discover, Respect, Protect, Serve, and Celebrate Life. Mackville Truck and Tractor Pulls continue today with local pullers and chicken dinner. The Saint Nicholas Building for the Future expansion project plans are being unveiled today. See the plans in the parish hall after all Masses at Saint Nicholas. The diocesan priest retreat begins Monday. Please pray for us as we pray for you! Saint John the Baptist testifies to the Light, and points the way to Jesus. The Saint Nicholas Parish middle schoolers will celebrate the nativity of Saint John the Baptist with prayer, activities and campfire next Sunday night, June 24th , 7:30-9:30pm. Have a blessed week! Peace,

Father Walter
