Fix fourth panel (P4)horizontally with 6 mainfasteners and spreaderplates to every rafter

Stitch top sheet with 51mm longlow profi le stitching screw(i.e SFS, ‘Irius’ or simliar at max.500mm centres (see detail e)

Stitch fl ashing with low profi lestitching screw at max.

Fix third panel (P3) horizontallywith 6 main fasteners and

spreader plates to every rafter

Lay second panel (P2) horizontallywith 6 main fasteners and spreaderplates to every rafter. The fi rst of the

6 main fasteners is to be fi xedthrough panel (P1) at panel side lap.

Panel should be buttjointed tightly together

2 runs of 9 x 3mm butylrubber sealant tape(see item a)

Install additional mainfasteners at 500mm centresat the eaves

2 runs of 9 x 3mmbutyl rubbersealant tape

Fix fi rst panel (P1) horizontally at eaves with initial 5 main fastenersand spreader plates to every rafter. For steel supports less thantypically 12mm thickness use a low profi le self drillingfastener is available (i.e SFS ‘Irius’ or similar recommendedmain fastener). For thicker steelwork a low profi lehexagonal fastener canbe used with pre-drilling
