Learning resources of Department (Laboratories, Computers/ Internet/ Departmental library etc.) Department has well equipped Computer laboratory with Desk top Computers,N-Computing, Printers with photo copier,OHP and a LCD Projectors, Laptops, Cameras, Scanners. E-class rooms & Seminar Hall are available for innovative and ICT based teaching. Department provides Internet & Wi-Fi Broadband facility to students and teachers. Various computer software like Tally, SPSS 22.0, Dream Viewer, Page Maker, Corel Draw, Photoshop, MS-Office are available for learning, teaching and research. Departmental Library has 151 books, magazines, projects and E-books, Educational CDs, E-journals; N-list programme’s access is available for students and teacher. 9. Enhancement of the resources during last five years.

Commerce Computer Laboratory with Wi-Fi is established for students and a well-furnished & equipped staff room is made available for the staff members.

Department had also procured LCD Projectors and Interactive Smart Boards. New books have been purchased for the departmental library and new issues of the

journals are received. Few new instruments and software are also purchased like Wi-Fi Printer, Document Scanner,

SPSS Software Several experts from business sectors and industries have been invited to deliver special lectures

for the students and staff. 10. Modern teaching methods

a. The faculty members have modern teaching methods other than lecture method. The faculty members are using these modern teaching aids for effectiveteaching like LCD Projector. Some staff members prepare their lectureson Power Point Presentation by downloading pictures and illustrations frominternet.

b. Group discussion, seminars, project presentation, assignment etc. are the general methods of the students involved learning methods.

c. Workshops and Seminar Competition organize for enhancing their capabilities. d. Movies on social, industries show to students for social awareness, understanding of

industrial working. e. Industrial visits and Farm visit arrange as a part of field learning. f. Statistical Survey has done for field base knowledge. g. Web designing competition takes for improve and sustain the skill of web designing. h. Remedial coaching classes are taken for slow learner.

Other Methods for improving employing capabilities a. Placement & Career Guidance Cell is available for campus and off campus interviews and

placements. b. NET/ SET Coaching provides for continuous flow of human resource in higher education. c. A class for entry in services regularly takes to orient students in competitive exams.
