Listening to the Word of God today, let us focus on God’s invitation to continue Christ’s mission in the world. What do these sacred scriptures ask of you now, this week? (Closing Benediction at 4:30 p.m.) Secretary Position—St. Anne’s School St. Anne Catholic School is seeking to fill the position of School Secretary. The school is looking for an individual who is reliable, mindful of confidentiality, and has strong communication and people skills. The School Secretary oversees the day-to-day school office activities, monitoring assigned activities and providing information as requested by the Principal. Responsibilities include clerical duties, maintaining accurate records, pertinent computer programs for cloud based word processing, spread sheets, and data bases, such as Google Docs or Microsoft 365 for Education. In addition, candidates will be trained on RenWeb, our online parent portal. Candidates with an Associate’s degree and some business background or office work experience preferred. Full time (40 hrs/week) with benefit package available. HELP FEED A HUNGRY KID After Masses the weekend of June 10/11, pick up a tag from the board in the Commons to help St. Anne’s Feed a Hungry Kid Program. All donations go toward the weekend backpack food program at Virginia Middle School. Under this program, kids receive a bag of ready to eat or easy to make food every Friday with enough food to sustain them over the weekend. Extra food is provided over holiday breaks and long weekends. St. Anne’s sponsors a class (15 students) of Virginia Middle School children every week throughout the school year. Help make a difference in a child’s life by sponsoring this program. If you are not going to be attending Mass at St. Anne’s the weekend of June 10/11, but would like to donate toward our Feed a Hungry Kid Program, you can bring a check to the parish office. Collection Report (May 20/21)

Regular/Operating $6,870.

This Week’s Second Collection (May 27/28) is taken up

for the diocesan Home Missions. Proceeds are used to

establish a fund from which grants are made to our mission

parishes and smaller parishes. These grants help the

parishes make repairs and minor capital improvements that

they otherwise would not be able to do. Over the past seven

year $789,613 of grants have been given to 54 parishes.

and 24 at the Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center in
