SYNOD 2020: The Synod Opening Ceremony takes place at the Metropolitan Cathedral on Sunday 3 February 2019 at 3pm, all Parishes over this weekend are encouraged to keep Synod 2020 in their prayers. Bereavement Group: Meeting this 10:30am, Thursday 7th February in St. Jerome’s parish centre. Foodbank: - Please remember the foodbank. They have again said that there is a shortage of ‘Longlife’ cartons of semi-skinned milk, Rice and Pasta Sauces St. Joseph’s: Charity event at St Joseph’s. Fun Bingo and Quiz night presented by the well- known Formby entertainer John Nelson. Date: Wednesday, 27 February at 7.30pm. £5 and pay at door. Bring own wine. Contact Alice or Patrick Joyce on 831621 with table numbers or if you require more details. St. Anne’s Parish: Tea and coffee after Mass - will be served in the parish hall today after 10.30. am Mass. Team 2 helpers are on duty. Lourdes Pilgrimage: There will be a meeting for all those going on the parish pilgrimage to Lourdes in the hall after 10.am Mass on the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, Monday 11th February. St. Jerome’s Parish: The Mens Society: will hold their usual monthly meeting on Wednesday evening February 6th commencing at 9.00pm, when a small Cheese and Wine tasting evening will be held - Wines from Peter Brooks Vineyard! Come along and give it a try - cost £5 pp. UCM: Committee Meeting on Monday 4th February at 7.00pm in the Parish Lounge
