From the video pitch we received mixed feedback The idea people thought could be potentially

good However, people thought as it would be produced

on a low budget They also thought that the storyline may be hard

to portray in the hybrid genre of rock and rap We also placed the video pitch on slideshare. This

allowed more people to view our video pitch and leave feedback on it

Video Pitch

We used Youtube and the social networking site Facebook

Youtube and Facebook is associated with a youth generation. The target market for our artist was the youth generation so it made sense to place the video in these areas

Youtube allowed us to receive feedback from anywhere in the world

By using Facebook, the feedback could be seen as biased as people who are friends with us were only able to see the video on Facebook

The video is similar to others as it has a narrative as well as live performance in the video. Rap and some rock videos have flashing lights and existing rap artists video is shown below as well as our own interpretation of it

It is similar to other rap videos by the clothing the artist was wearing throughout the video

The narrative could also been seen as similar to rap videos as it makes an association to violence

I feel the flashing lights and strobe lights used in the live performance was very effective

I feel the end sequence where the artist disappears also works well

The CCTV aspect of the video I thought worked very well. This was also an area the audience thought worked well

What are the strengths of the music video

Some scenes the performs were smiling and partially laughing. The song was serious so the smiling does not fit the song

The narrative of the song did not fully work as well as we had imagined

The camera and computer programs we used could be seen as a weakness as the equipment was not the was up to date or most expensive. This could be seen as effecting the quality of the production

What are the weaknesses of the music video
