Kenny and Patti Barber Shooting Range Temporary Closure Subject to AS 38.04.058, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has executed a decision for the following: APPLICANT: Department of Natural Resources (DNR) PROJECT NAME: ADL 230696, Kenny and Patti Barber Shooting Range GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The Kenny and Patti Barber Shooting Range is located approximately 2.7 miles down the Maud Road Extension, North West of Jim Lake. It can also be found by GPS grid 61.562775°, -148.931362°. It is located near the western boundary of the Knik River Public Use Area. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Seward Meridian, Township 17 North, Range 3 East, Section 16, containing 7 acres, more or less. ACTIVITY: DNR has decided to the temporary closure of the Maud Road Extension, ADL 206989, for construction and rehabilitation which will consequently restrict public access to the range while the Maud Road Extension is under construction.
