4 INTRODUCTION

4.1 Definition of ICAPS ICAPS is an acronym of the words:

(I)ntegrated (C)ommissioning (A)nd (P)rogress (S)ystem

The ICAPS version used for this project is 3.21 built 1 and is not supposed to be modified during the PBF’s projects but CPY keep the possibility to modify the ICAPS version according to its internal need. Any impacts of a new ICAPS version installation will be supported by CPY. ICAPS is a complete Pre-commissioning / Commissioning activities management tool. It manages the execution and monitoring of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities. The ICAPS software is supported by OPERCOM methodology, the Company specifications designating the methodology and rules to be applied for the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities as shown under the Reference documents table - Chapter 3.

4.2 ICAPS Description The main functions of ICAPS are:

Reference all tasks for Pre-commissioning and Commissioning. Preparation of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning dossiers. Reporting on all aspects of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities. Punch List management. Calculations of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning progress. Providing a Commissioning database for Operations activities. Providing a Commissioning feedback report for detailed analysis.

4.3 Main Facilities of ICAPS The main facilities provided by ICAPS are:

A database for Project and Subprojects definitions, Equipment and technical datas. A ‘Status Index’ for all Pre-commissioning tasks. A ‘Technical database’ for all Commissioning tasks. 6.3 Global Filter When opening a database, the first window that appears is the Global Filter MMI: This facility provides the user with the option to select a specific area of a database while leaving all other areas hidden from view. This feature limits the amount of data to be processed and is useful on large databases. Filtering can be applied to any number of the options shown below. To apply a filter, click on the required items and select one from the drop down menus. Note: The Global Filter has two tabs. One is for the project as a general view and the second one is specific to Punch List. The Global Filter also presents useful options in tick boxes that allow the user to select only the task not completed (on the first tab) and also the Punch List complete or not complete (second tab). Multiple filters can be applied at the time on both tabs. It is possible for instance to filter the Punch List not complete on the check sheets only (CCK) for a dedicated subsystem. Remark: Always cancel the filter (GF OFF) before:

6.5 General rules used with ICAPS

ICAPS is a software package with a man-machine interface (or MMI). All the familiar facilities used in Windows applications are present. The main menu bar gives access to all the main functions:

The view is done by Systems and Sub-systems or by Modules. Navigation within ICAPS is performed through an Explorer module. The system comprises a ‘left hand’ and ‘right hand’ panel similar to the one used by Microsoft Windows. The left-hand window panel shows a tree view that can be expanded and collapsed. The right-hand window panel shows details of the object that have been selected in the tree view. In addition, you can access to specific tasks at any time, by selecting an object in the tree view or a line in the list, then by clicking the right mouse button. The ‘left hand’ panel contains the following seven branches:

Equipment Systems Task Database Dossier Status Punch List Sequence

Setup Search

Note: The 5 first branches and the Search branch are exclusive. You cannot display both at the same time. Each branch contains a number of folders that are arranged in a hierarchical order as displayed below: The right-hand panel of ICAPS explorer displays the contents of the folder highlighted in the left-hand panel. The Items folder for subsystem number 0101 produces the following right-hand panel:

A contextual menu opens next to the cursor, letting you select the function you want directly from a list. These menus are dynamic, varying according to the object selected or the User access level authorization. The functions in these menus perform immediate tasks, such as updating the progress on a task or opening a new screen that lets you configure the selected objects detailed characteristics (for upper level access rights). Note: there is no active filter see bottom of the picture on the subsystem number.

7.5.2 Commissioning Tasks – PRC / FTS / OTS /PVP

The Commissioning task activities types are:

Task Type

Task Activity Description

PRC Preliminary Check FTS Functional Test OTS Operational Test PVP Piping and Vessel Preparation The preliminary Check sheet (PRC) is a Commissioning task by discipline to be validated acting the RFC dossier with relevant documentation has been reviewed and accepted by the Commissioning disciplines Leads. Functional Tests (FTS) are performed on Basic Functions. A Basic Function is the smallest group of equipment that can be subject to ‘dynamic’ i.e. energized Commissioning activities (Ex: E&I Loop checks) Operational Tests (OTS) are required to check the correct functioning of certain equipments of the plant under conditions as close as possible to normal operating conditions. Piping & Vessels Preparations (PVP) are all the activities required to prepare for oil or gas-in. OTS and PVP’s are multi-discipline activities. To access to the Commissioning tasks select Task List by Location / Task Location / System Number / Sub-systems number / Commissioning tasks / PRC or FTS or OTS or PVP. You can repeat the same operation by selecting Task List by System.

7.7.1 RFC Status, RFSU/AOC Status

When you click on ‘Dossier Status’ branch, the list of subsystems is displayed on the right window with their respective status during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phase:

RFC Date and RFSU/AOC Date are the dates when the RFC and RFSU/AOC certificates have been signed off, which means all the Pre-commissioning or Commissioning activities have been fully completed without blocking punch item in the subsystem. RFC (RFSU) Dates are available if the subsystem has been calculated RFC (RFSU) ie all activities completed with no blocking punch item in the phase. In this case, the RFC (RFSU) calculated indicator displays ‘yes’ in the column “RFC Calculated (RFSU Calculated)”. A partial date for RFC and RFSU (AOC) can be used to energize a sub-system or to operate a system without completion of current tasks taking in account there is no blocking point (safety as ex). The Status field in the above screen can be either ‘No’, ‘Partial’ if the Partial Date is entered or ‘Yes’ if the Final date is entered. Note: RFSU field in ICAPS refers to AOC acronym in OPERCOM.

 Internet Explorer 8 ;

First connection to the TOTAL Connect portal: Administrator rights

Privileges:

Recurring connection to the TOTAL Connect portal: User rights

 Internet access

Configuration:

 DNS resolution

Https flow (tcp / 443) allowed to pass through firewalls and proxies to sslconnect1.total.fr

Website sslconnect1.total.fr must be in trusted sites

Enable the execution of ActiveX components

The personal firewall (if there is one installed) must not block SSL flows.

FIRST CONNECTION TO THE TOTAL CONNECT PORTAL For the first connection to SSL VPN portal, administrator rights are required to permit installation of Juniper components such as « Juniper Installer Services» and « Windows Secure Application Manager» (WSAM). You do not have to connect using your “standard” user ID – a system administrator may perform these steps for you.

During this step, an ActiveX or Java component is automatically downloaded and installed.

Installation procedure

Connect to the address: https://sslconnect1.total.fr/installer

Login = installer

Password = totalconnect

Enable the execution of ActiveX components.

At the end of the installation process, this window should be displayed

Click on the button « Disconnect » to close your session and then close your browser.

RECURRING CONNECTION ON THE TOTAL CONNECT PORTALIf all the steps were correctly followed, you just need user rights for the next steps.

Assuming that all required components were installed, connect to the following address:

Authentication & compliance tests

https://sslconnect1.total.fr/pki

The following pop-up is displayed to asking you to select the personal certificate that you have previously installed.

Annexe 2 - TOTALConnect VPN SSL Access Page 3 of 4

Page 43: PBF - ICAPS MANUAL

Select your certificate.

NB: The following window is displayed even if you have just one certificate.

Enter the password that you created during the generation certificate process. This password cannot be reset – a new certificate must be generated if you lose or forget it.

Once authenticated, the HostChecker component that checks your system’s compliance to TOTAL standards will install and execute automatically.

If you computer is not compliant to the TOTAL security policy, a remediation page will be displayed. If your role requires it, the WSAM component should be launched automatically.. You can see this service launched in your task bar.

Once all components are loaded, several bookmarks corresponding to TOTAL’s resources may displayed, according to your rights.

Access to TOTAL’s resources

Bookmarks are grouped by the type of service or resource, such as Terminal session, File server, Web access …

Some application installed on your computer can be used with SSL VPN solution to access to TOTAL resources. In this case, no bookmark is displayed; rules are loaded in the WSAM component permitting your application to connect securely to the resources in question.

Example: WSAM component tunnelsapplication flows, such as those initiated by thePutty terminal client

PARTNER SUPPORT Once your access has been validated, TOTAL provides you special phone number that you call in case of problem. The Partner support team will assist you in troobleshooting and resolving your issue.
