As the original Arnold Palmer signature design along the Gulf Coast, the Cotton Creek course combines the mystique of a golf legend with Southern hospitality. Cotton Creek and its sister course, Cypress Bend at Craft Farms, are Palmer’s only Alabama projects.

Featuring rolling fairways and large undulating greens, the course is very playable from the forward tees and a true championship challenge of over 7,000 yards from the tips. True to its Palmer design, this traditional 18-hole masterpiece was laid out to challenge rather than intimidate, with numerous risk/reward opportunities throughout.

In addition to outstanding golf, Craft Farms offers complete on-site amenities, including a pro shop, the picturesque lakeside Cotton Creek Clubhouse, the award-winning Courtyard by Marriott and the luxurious Cypress Point Condominiums.

GlenLakes Golf Club offers two distinct courses to choose from. “The Vista Dunes”, is a 6,938 yard, par 72 championship test that will evoke the feeling of Scottish links golf – strategic mounding, extensive bunkering and undulating fairways and greens. The adjoining “Lakes” course is a sporty, 3,065 yard par 35 resort-style nine hole track. POLICIES

Golf Course Check-InGolfers should check in for play at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time. Players who arrive late forfeit reserved tee times and are subject to same day space availability, if any. Groups that are late, incomplete or fail to show are billed in full for reservations which are not filled.

Cancellation PolicyTo ensure credit for all reserved golf play, cancellations must be made with your selected accommodation at least 48 hours prior to scheduled golf play. ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE HANDLED BY THE ACCOMMODATION. The individual golf courses cannot cancel golf play.

Soft SpikesIn a continuing effort to provide the very best playing conditions for resort golfers, soft spikes are required at all Gulf Shores Golf Association golf courses. The improvement to putting surfaces as a result of this effort is readily evident, not to mention the comfort most golfers attribute to the non-metal spikes.

Inclement WeatherWeather conditions vary greatly due to the close proximity of the golf courses to the Gulf. It may be raining at the beach but not at any of the courses. Unless a course is closed to play, tee times must be honored. When in doubt, call the golf course directly for current weather conditions and rain policy information. Only the golf course can offer credit for rainouts. IF THE COURSE IS OPEN FOR PLAY, CREDIT WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

Proper Golf AttireShirts with collars and sleeves are required at all participating golf courses. Please check with the course you are playing for specific information regarding attire.

Pace of PlayA course can only play as fast as each finishing group. An enjoyable pace of play requires that golfers maintain a position directly behind the group in front of them regardless of the position of the group behind them. Please do your part and keep pace with the group ahead of you at all times.

Coolers/TailgatingOur liquor laws require that alcoholic beverages consumed on the grounds of the club are restricted to only those that have been purchased and distributed by the club itself. Private coolers containing alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds of a course nor is the consumption of such beverages (tailgating) permitted in parking areas. Special arrangements for coolers required for medical purposes are accepted by all golf courses and should be made in advance.

EquipmentEach player is required to have his/her own golf bag and set of clubs. Rental sets are available at the courses and must be reserved in advance of play.

Golf Cart Use and LiabilityMost golf courses in the Gulf Shores Golf Association permit walking but do not allow pull carts. Golf cart operators are individually liable for damages to carts and/or club property. Any incident or injury should be reported to the golf course staff as soon as possible. It is each golfer’s responsibility to read and adhere to specific rules for golf cart use and safety provided at each course.

SpectatorsNon-golfing adults and minors are not permitted on some courses. Please check with the course you are playing for specific information regarding spectators.
