Created in 2001, New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) forms the backbone of the New Zealand fashion and beauty industry, enabling invited designers to promote and profile their brand, and sell both nationally and internationally.

NZFW 2016 will be held from Monday 22 August to Sunday 28 August. This allows international media and buyers the opportunity to travel to, and cover, both NZFW and MBFW-NYC.

NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK

NZFW is a trade event that offers designers a platform to present and promote their forward Autumn/Winter 2017 collection to accredited delegates (media, buyers and industry spectators). It is the week where the serious business of fashion takes place, and when the country's key trade influencers come out to shine.

Now in its 16th year, it is the leading fashion event in New Zealand, both aspirationally and economically setting the benchmark for this country's fashion industry. Arguably the country's most glamorous event, NZFW is also a huge public relations success story. This media favourite now generates over $30 million in estimated advertising value.
