NPCT1 Technical Specification
• The yard is the ‘heart’ of the terminal; the key constraint for capacity and operations.
• Insufficient yard results in congestions and often misreported maximum available capacity.
• NPCT1 has high ‘hectare to quay crane’ ratio.
• In addition, NPCT1 has deeper drafts and new Super Post-Panamax cranes capable of higher productivity.

Advantages of Calling at NPCT1
Deep Drafts• Two-way traffic approach channel
• Alongside depth/drafts of 16 m
• Current drafts at neighboring terminals are 9 - 14 m
Available Berthing Windows
• Available berthing windows at Tanjung Priok are currently scarce
• Liners not getting their optimal berthing windows
• Opportunity to get tailored window in NPCT1 to improve your commercial positioning or optimize your network
New Cranes• 8 Super Post-Panamax Cranes with long outreach of 65 m (23 rows)
• Expected high productivity of 27 - 30 moves per hour
SG-trained Operators
• Personnel trained in our Singapore flagship terminal
• Best practices from world’s leading terminal adopted
• Support from Group Operations at HQ
PSA Management and Network
• Operational information-exchange between Singapore terminal and NPCT1 in case of congestion at either end
• May help liners to adjust sailing speed and save fuel consumption
