PLATEAU SOLAR PROJECT in Leupp, AZ• Gather and analyze data from Photovoltaic (PV) systems to make
comparative analysis of weather related data to performance of the PV systems.
• Test the efficiency, durability and performance of different solar panel manufactures.

Hybrid Treadle/Solar Pump
• Design team of 5 students
• Constructed hybrid system capable of extracting water from 50ft. Below water table.
Solar Charging Backpack
• Design team of 3 students
• Constructed a backpack that utilized photovoltaic cells to generate electricity to charge small devices.
Autonomous Robotic Car
• Solo project• Built a robotic car
that used infrared and bump sensors to navigate through obstacle courses
• Programmed in C++ and designed with AutoCAD.

Work with a Lathe Machine• Used Lathe to thread a screw and create a
cylindrical object.
Work with a Mill Machine• Used Mill to create millimeter precise cuts and
chamfered hard corners on metal objects.
Work with a Rapid Prototype Machine• Designed object using SolidWorks and created
using a Rapid Prototype Machine.
