• Liaising with new Destination Port Stephens members to encourage them to join the MICE Port Stephens group ie Parko’s at the Bay and Sienna’s Restaurant – both of these venues have conference / function space which we can relaunch to marketplace
• Working with new members ie Vue’s, Aqua Blu introducing their businesses to MICE journalists and clients so they can see potential of MICE business
• Development of incentive product itineraries in preparation for Dreamtime (Dec 2013) under themes of Pamper Me, Thrill Me and Teach Me to include all members

PORT STEPHENS AMBASSADORS
• Working with new members of Destination Port Stephens who may have influence in their own right to bring in conferences within their industry ie Malcolm Andreson of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
• Working with community groups to support our bids for conference business. Ie Lions Club, Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce have provided letters of support for bids that were distributed during this month which has led to other enquiries.
• We are now starting to see enquiries/support come thorugh associated business that we do with our clients (from DPS point of view) including Cactus Creative who gave us a lead for 2014 Rotary International Conference
