QED’s Precision Fine TuneTM Control Valve (U.S.Patent Number 8,800,597) is a revolutionary

breakthrough in landfill gas well field tuning. Unlike tradi-tional “gate” type valves, this allows you to easily andprecisely adjust the gas flow from a well, rather than justturning the flow on or off. The valve design gives youthe ability to achieve linear flow adjustment across theentire range of valve movement.

The valve also has a high visibility metered scale thatallows you to observe the valve setting, andquickly and accurately return to theexact flow setting after ashutdown. The risingstem valve exposesmore of the meteredscale as it is opened,allowing you to see and record numericallyexactly how far thevalve is open.

The valve uses a “flow-tuned” design valve plug, whichallows for fine tuning even at very lowgas flow rates (under 10 SCFM).

The rugged stainless steelvalve stem and handle makethe valve much moredurable in the harsh outdoorenvironment to which landfillgas wells are exposed.

QED’s innovative StabilizerTM LFG Well Caps (US Patentnumber 9,068,421) feature a unique support ring

molded directly into the Cap that aligns and stabilizes the LFGwellhead. This takes pressure off the flexible coupling andthe flex hose and, along with watertight threads, reducesleaks from the wellhead. The caps are molded in a distinctive yellow*, which ensures you are receivinggenuine QED well cap.

This is the first engineered gas well cap that allows liquidlevel readings without removing the wellhead – faster, safer,less system disruption. Air introduction and gas release areminimized, eliminating the need to shut down the vacuum sys-tem for level measurements and rebalancing of the well field.

Well Caps without pumpfittings are a good wayto start on gas recoverywells. A pump fitting kit can be added laterfor dual extraction wells.
