PASTOR’S REFLECTION

Pentecost Sunday

June 4, 2017

Dear Friends,

There are many gifts from the same Spirit. They are

given to us to be shared and not kept to ourselves.

The best way that we can affirm our own gifts and

admire those of others is to use the gifts that God has

given us. How do you use your gifts for the good of

others, the Church, the world?

Take time to refresh the life of the Spirit that has been

given you. Then witness your faith like disciples and

believers throughout the ages. Be assured of my prayers

for you and for your dear ones during this Easter

Season. May the good Lord bless you with wisdom and

peace. Please pray for me.

What is the Men’s Law Enforcement &

Firefighter Emmaus?

It is a retreat put on by men of the law enforcement and fire

fighting community, based on the appearance of Jesus to the

disciples walking along the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35).

Asael Stand was part of our formation class and fell very ill

last year. We are convinced he is watching us from Heaven.

The goal of the two year certificate program is to form lay

men and women who desire to grow in their understanding

of their Catholic identity and their ability to serve. This

program provides a foundation of theology and pastoral skills

encompassing human and spiritual growth, theological

formation and pastoral training.

se nos han dado para ser compartidos, no solo para enri-

quecernos personalmente. La mejor forma de afianzar

nuestros dones y poder admirar los dones de mis herma-

nos es usando esos que Dios nos ha dado. ¿Cómo usas los

dones que te ha dado el Señor para el bien común, para

beneficio de la Iglesia y el mundo?

Pasen unos minutos en oración de silencio. Pídanle a

Dios que les demuestre formas de responder a Su Palabra

y a Su plan divino. Por favor oren por mi. Asegúrense
