Internship experience (1): • Dr. Paula Lindroos, BUP director, presented study programs; • Prof. Emeritus Lars Rydén, former BUP director, presented

current researches on the topic of sustainable development and also the good experience in that field of work;

• Lithuanian case also was presented during meeting. We discussed and compared researches held in Lithuania and Sweden, also about research methodologies used in these researches;

• Teaching methods applied in Sweden and study programs related to sustainable development were discussed. Partners from Sweden shared teaching material, online links. We also had a visit to library.

Internship experience (2): • We also had a possibility to meet Radisson Blue

Hotel manager Sophia Soderin, because this hotel is an example of a company with the principles of sustainable development. Sophia Soderin introduced all technological and management innovations.

• Radisson Blue Hotel is build like a “green” building which saves 25 percent energy.

Experience in learning the content and form :

• We participated in the lecture at Uppsala university: „The logics of business education for sustainability“ by David O. Kronlid ir Eva Friman. The reforms in Swedish education system related to the role of teaching sustainable development were presented in the lecture.

• We also participated in another lecture „The Economic Crisis of Today“, organized by CEMUS Education center, which is an unique student initiated and primarily student-run university center at Uppsala university. The lecturer was Erik Andersson, Department of Global Studies, Gothenburg university.

• The knowledge and experience will be useful in the design of study subjects and in a joint degree program, updating the teaching process.

Development internationalization of studies:

• After internship in Uppsala together with ”Economis and sustainable business” programme students we participated in Students’ conference, organized by Baltic University Programme (BUP) in Vilnius.

• We invited our partners to participate in annual conferences organized by our faculty.
