The International Music African Academy (IMAA) is located in the

Republic of Uganda. It's a practical research music academy with a

profound and rich heritage of Music, Dance and Drama Excellence.

To be the premier music Academy of African Music Scholarship.

A truly International Music African Academy that is academically excellent innovative in practical, composition, performance and creative in music production among others; since health of knowledge production lies at the heart of the Academy's success and of the institutions on the African continent.

IMAA is a glob in one community. Found in the pearl of Africa (Uganda) her headquarters from where it extends her services.

IMAA offers prospective students the choice of studying and doing music practically –with a distinctive character.

A large number of agreements and memoranda of understanding are yet to be signed with various music institution in ASIA, EUROPE, USA, NORWAY AND AFRICA,

HOW TO APPLY

UGANDAN APPLICANTS

Appl ications are done directly to our offices.Ÿ All first time applicants to IMAA for entry into Master Bachelor Degrees,

Diploma and Certificate study in the first semester (----------------)Ÿ IMAA also has an online application facility where one can easily log in

for further instructive information.Ÿ The forms have unique IMAA reference /application numbers that

must be quoted in all correspondenceŸ The IMAA system will generate an IMAA number when applying on

line.Ÿ The IMAA handbook prospectus provides information on programs

available as well as information on minimum requirements for application to

specific programs. Applicants are allowed to make choices from the listed programs.

Ÿ Applicants pay one application fee only to the detailed pay information {bank slip} which will be distributed accordingly.

Ÿ All students apply on given dates or stated period of time of registration for the new intakes.

Ÿ IMAA will confirm receipt of applications by letter of applications, Fax, or E-mail.

Ÿ Applicants must confirm their basic information and their choices made provided information on special programme requirements and list outstanding documentation.

Ÿ A non- refundable application fee of $55 is payable to IMAA on submission of application and required documentation

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION (POPI)

This refers to Uganda's Protection of Personal Information in a responsible manner. The act considers personal

information to be precious goods and therefore aims to Bestow upon a person as the owner of their personal information certain rights of personal and

the ability to exercise control over it.

Personal information refers to information such as: Demographic information, age, sex, race, birth date, ID number, ethnicity and so on.

ALTERNATIVE ACCESS PROGRAMMES

IMAA has developmental, innovative, alternative access and music academic programmes to cater for prospective African people (students)whose music academic potential was not realized due to a disadvantaged educational background.

IMAA's access programmes identify candidates with music potential and once registered, they receive the succeed in music reading, writing and performance skills.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND MERIT AWARDS

These awards are offered to the top best music performances from each and every area/country in which IMAA will carry out her talent shows & performances.

Reciprocates can only qualify one scholarship per academic year.
