The rest of the structures have four sets of colour coding:- ~ direct line management responsibility ~ matrix working, so place based but with line management

responsibility to another member of the ICS senior leadership team ~ posts that are on a limited duration secondment ~ new posts being created as a result of the transformation,

which could be addressed through the realignment of current responsibilities The structure mostly reflects those post holders in bands 8D and above It is proposed to amend line management responsibility only, rather than

conducting a full-scale restructuring Some inconsistencies may be evident in the structure and reporting lines, as places

have slightly different approaches
