Corporate University ExchangeThe Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate
Learning salute corporate and government learning organizations that create exciting, impactful
programs resulting in measurable improvements in employee and business performance.
Since 1999, these independently judged awards have set the standard for corporate learning.
“Feedback from partners is not always comfortable, and they
sometimes want to see more volume of business or exclusivity.
Being able to take this feedback constructively is a
perfect example of the trust we have built via the PAB. For AU it
is key to understand their needs and preoccupations, better
positioning us both as we move forward. It also allows us to
understand the mood of the providers, and pay attention to
where we may improve. This is a reflection of how our partners
and we at AU integrate the Alstom Values – Trust, Team and
Action into our relationships. These are values employees are
familiar with thanks to our partners for integrating them into
each and every training course we run. In the beginning, our
own AU team had to be briefed on the purpose of the PAB. It
was important that this event was not about pricing and
negotiation, but learning from each other.”

Regional NewslettersPeople Quest Event Held in Philadelphia
64 Alstom Managers, Engineers and Professionals from throughout the NAM
region came to Philadelphia on Oct 31 to Nov 3rd, to participate in the AU
Leadership Development Event known as People Quest. Three workshops
were conducted concurrently including: Change Management, Situational
Leadership and Positive Power and Influence, followed by a series of
workshops related to enhancing the corporate EASE initiative. This event was
a particularly memorable one, as it occurred during an early winter snowstorm
which blanketed parts of the northeast with several feet of snow and caused
many power failures, including the conference center where the event was
being held. But in true Alstom fashion, our attendees persevered, and despite
the “challenges” made the event a great one. Thanks to you all !!

benefit of all users of the database BONGA, but is available to, and may also
be of interest to any other employee. e-Bonga is free and accessible from the
AU e-Learning platform. For questions or comments related to Bonds and
Guarantees, please contact Christine Dross, Head of Bonds

"I must confess I was at first a bit reluctant to this idea of the PAB. The ambiance was great at the meeting, the idea of
thinking together for AU’s future was very interesting but all this was still a bit confusing for each of the participants.
However, it appeared very soon that it was indeed a great idea. It helped me understand the market as seen by my
client, and even more than that to understand where each of us could bring a specific and distinctive value."
