Today, more than anytime in history, the ability of people across the globe to come together to form a collective consciousness is palpable. The exponential growth of technology has meant individuals are able to seamlessly connect across the globe, follow world news as it develops, and share opinions and feeling in social forums as never before.

With these new abilities comes a new sense of responsibility and a potential for growth. As it can at an individual, societal or country level - the global collective consciousness can influence decision making and contribute to outcomes - both good & bad.

This project is borne out of desire to provide a platform for people across the globe to share their feelings about major world, social & political issues - issues that impact consumers, marketers, young & old, and all humans alike. Our goal is to facilitate a global sharing, to promote understanding & tolerance, to fosters openness & trust, and to ultimately build empathy & influence positive decision making. We want to nurture and strengthen the collective heartbeat.

The totality of beliefs and sentiments common to the average members of a society forms a determinate system with a life of its own. It can be termed the collective or creative consciousness.

Our StoryOur journey started with political polling - monitoring how people felt about politics and politicians. From this work we observed a disturbing lack of positivity about the future of the world and the decision makers who influence it. It also spurned the thought that the impact of major events - events from Brexit to mass shooting, from the US election to natural disasters - were not limited to a country but impacted and influenced people across the globe.

As a sponsor of Global HEARTBEAT you are supporting the ideal of a positive global consciousness and sense of community. You are helping people across the globe voice how they feel about the major issues that are impacting them. You are not only helping individuals feel part of a collective, you are helping world leaders and decisions maker understand how people feel - not just what they think. Project Scope1. Today, we have a collection of 2016 survey data and

HEARTBEAT reports and dynamic maps that can be shared on our new website and in social media.

2. We intend to keep it live by continuing polling across the world using Google Consumer Survey, and sharing results.

3. We will invite bloggers from around the world to write articles based on our findings (incl. experts in psychology, sociology, political science, conflict resolution, analytics, etc.)

4. We will sponsor a video series to educate people about emotions in difficult political times and to inspire sharing and positivity.

5. We will integrate our platform with Google API to allow for instant translation of content and polling.

6. We will build a mobile app that that will allow to: a. collect words of emotions, b. do simple polling, c. view and share in social media instantly.
