Due August 15 - 2015 Business Innovation Award
Friday, June 26
Benton House
1701 NW Jefferson Street
Blue Springs, MO 64015
(816) 224-2727
The Blue Springs Business Innovation Award is a business award designed to meet the needs of area
businesses. In Blue Springs, when businesses are successful the entire community is stronger. There
is nothing quite like the return that a successful new product, system or service can bring to the
bottom line of a business or organization.
The goal of this award is to shine a bright light on the creative spirit of Blue Springs and Jackson
County by offering a financial award to the most significantly innovative idea for a new product,
system and/or service. Innovations should uniquely fill unmet needs, create attention from
competitors, be different and better than existing products, exceed market expectations, achieve
financial success, and improve business systems.
The requirements to apply are:
A small business (100 or less employees) located in Blue Springs
A for-profit business that has been in business for at least one year
The business does not have to be a Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce member
Businesses and organizations must meet requirements listed, and complete the application found
online at www.BlueSpringsChamber.com under Your Chamber—Business Innovation Award or by
calling the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce office at (816) 229-8558. Application must be
completed and returned to the Chamber office by August 15.
