INDEMNIFICATIONFOREXHIBITORS'ACTS.Exhibitoragreestoindemnifyandsaveharmless:CanadaBlooms,TheGardenClubofToronto,LandscapeOntarioortheDirectEnergyCentre(ortheiremployees,directors,officers,agentsorassigns),andeachofthem,fromanyandallclaimsofliabilitymadebyanyoneforanyloss,injuryordamagetopersonsorproperty,includingdeath,arisingoutoftheconductofexhibitororitsemployeesoragents,andagreestodefendCanadaBlooms,TheGardenClubofToronto,LandscapeOntarioortheDirectEnergyCentreagainstanysuchclaimsorliabilitiesandtoreimbursethemforallexpenses,includingcostsofsettlement,incurredinconnectiontherewith.

    19. ByenteringanexhibitinCanadaBlooms,theexhibitoragreestoabidebyandbegovernedbytheconditionssetforthintheforegoingrules.

    Amendments20. CanadaBloomsshallhavefullpowerintheinterpretationandenforcementofallrulescontainedherein,andthepowertomakesuch

    amendmentsthereto,andsuchfurtherrulesandregulationsasitshallconsidernecessaryfortheproperconductoftheShow.JudgingCriteria

    1. AllDesignandHorticulturalexhibitsshallbejudgedbyadesignatedteamofjudgesselectedbytheCanadaBloomsJudges'Convenors.2. JudgeswillnotbepermittedintheShowhallduringinstallation.3. NooneotherthanthoseauthorizedbytheShowCommitteewillbepermittedintothatareaoftheShowhallwherejudgingisinprogress

    andnoonemaydiscusstheexhibitswiththejudgespriortojudging.4. Designsmustnotbealteredinanymannerafterjudging.Deterioratingplantmaterialhowever,mustbereplacedinordertokeepthe

    5. Inclasses118inclusiveandclass21,23,24,26and27,theremaybeoneormoreplantsineachpotifofthesamecultivar.Saintpaulia(Africanviolet)istheexception,whereonlythetrailingtypeorspeciesareallowedtohavemultiplecrowns.SeeOJES.

    6. Exhibitorsmayhavenomorethan30entriesintotal.Oneachentryday,eachentrymustbeaccompaniedbyitsownEntryFormwiththeexhibitorsnameandclassnumber,aswellasthebotanicalandcommonnames,attachedtotheexhibit.

    Whenthereismorethanonespecimenofthesamecultivarinanentry,thejudgelooksforuniformityinsize,form,colourandstageofdevelopmentaswellasculturalperfection.

    Freshnessofmaterial,alongwiththeproportionofthestemtothecultivarandconditionofthefoliage,whereapplicable,arelookedatcarefully.

    Floriferousnessreferstotheabundanceofflowersontheentireplant.Thequalityofcolourandsizeaswellasthenumberofflowers,isofimportance.

    Goodconditionandgroomingareimportant,andallentriesmustbefreeofpestsanddisease.Anydamagedfoliageshouldbecarefullyremovedsothatitdoesnotaffecttheoverallappearanceoftheexhibit.

    ItisimportantfortheexhibitortocheckinOntarioJudgingandExhibitingStandardsforHorticultureandFloralDesign(2003edition),alsoknownasOJES,fortheScaleofPointsforeachtypeofexhibit,e.g.FloweringBrancheshaveaScaleofPointsthatisquitedifferentthanthatforCactiandotherSucculents.Bycheckinginthispublication,youcouldendupwiththewinningentry!Itisreallya"mustdo".

    Saucersofcompatiblematerialshouldbebroughtwithpottedplantsandplacedunderthemfordrainage.
