EXHIBITOR & CONTRACTOR BADGES ONLINE REGISTRATION Exhibitor Badges Exhibitor badges allow the stand personnel free entry during the assembly, exhibition and disassembly. The badges are only valid with the name and company name. Each stand will receive 1 badge per 3m 2 (maximum of 10 badges), main exhibitors must order badges for their co-exhibitor personnel within this allocation. The issue of passes to third parties is strictly prohibited. Exhibitor badges are free of charge. Please complete the order form as soon as possible. On Tuesday June 19 th Exhibitors badges will be available for collection from the registration area from 08:00 - 18:00 hrs. If exhibitors require access prior to Tuesday June 19 th, they will require a contractor badge/sticker available from the security company on arrival.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Sold exhibits may not be removed and delivered to the client until after the exhibition closes and in case of imports, customs must be cleared by the official freight forwarding company. Details of prices given in the form of signboards are not permitted, nor are references to exhibits whose sale is already affected or details of suppliers or customers. Contractor Badge/Sticker All contractors must register at the entrance to hall with security in charge, to receive a contractor’s badge/sticker to allow access into the hall. Official identification will be required. Contractors must have badge/sticker at all times. 5. FLOOR SURFACE / FLOOR LOADING Maximum Floor loading: 1.5 tons per Square meter Floor Surface: Concrete 6. PACKAGE STANDS Please refer to the documents in the handbook for specific details and layouts of the package stands. 7. PARTITION WALLS Partition walls will not be provided by the Organizers. The minimum requirements for stand construction in the hall are partition walls of a minimum height of 2.5m. Under no circumstances may exhibitors use the reverse side of walls of neighboring stands. 8. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE EXHIBITION GROUNDS The distribution of leaflets and promotional materials is confined to the exhibitor’s stand area and is not permitted in the gangways or elsewhere in the exhibition grounds. The Organizers reserve the right to prohibit the display or distribution of advertising matter that could give rise to offence and to confiscate the supplies thereof for the duration of the event. Publicity shall be confined to promotion of exhibited goods and shall not be in breach of statutory regulations or good taste including but not limited to objectification, degradation, harassment or nudity of any person, nor shall it be of an ideological or political nature. The Organisers reserve the right to prohibit the display or distribution of advertising matter that could give rise to offence and to confiscate the supplies thereof for the duration of the event. 9. PUBLICITY MATERIAL An order form for publicity material is available in the Marketing Section of the Handbook. 10. PRESS Exhibitors are invited to bring their press packs to the Show Management Office on Monday June 18th. 11. ACCESS TO STANDS OF OTHER EXHIBITORS Exhibitors have no right of access to other booths outside the official opening hours unless permission has been obtained from the exhibitor renting the booth.

12. MANNING OF THE STAND Exhibitors are obliged to be present on their stands during exhibition open hours and display registered exhibits. Stands may not be dismantled before the official closing of the exhibition. Exhibitors are not permitted to hand out or distribute any material outside their stand area, this also includes around the halls or the parking area. 13. ASSEMBLY PERIOD The assembly period starts at 10:00 hrs. until 20:00 hrs Monday, June 18th for raw space booths only and will continue Tuesday 19th 08:00 hrs. until 20:00 hrs. All set up is required to be completed by 09:00 hrs. on June 20th. Exhibitors with package shell scheme stands are permitted into the exhibition site to decorate their stands at 08:00 hrs. Tuesday, June 19th.

14. PARKING FOR EXHIBITORS AND CONTRACTORS During assembly and disassembly exhibitors and contractors do not pay the parking time at loading gates, however, the time is limited as to not interfere with other exhibitors.

The parking time will depend on the type and size of vehicle and type of load. The time will be assigned at the entrance to the loading gates through a parking slip.

If time is exceeded a penalty fine will be applied and must be payed to venue.

Penalty will be generated on the exit gate for payment

Once vehicle is unloaded it must be moved from loading deck area to allow for other maneuvers.

Example to move in to Hall Jalisco.

NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ACCESS INTO THE HALL, UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY THE

ORGANIZERS OF THE VENUE.

Unloading procedures Exhibitor personnel will proceed with unloading materials and equipment onto the platform immediately after parking in the loading zone. Vehicles are not permitted to remain in the loading zone unless accompanied by exhibitor personnel. Under no circumstances will the vehicles be permitted to stay in the maneuvering zone. If this happens, a customary fine will be applied according to the time the vehicles remain parked in the zone.

Vehicles may only be parked in the loading zone when offloading materials or equipment onto the platform. Double and triple parking lines are not allowed, nor is obstructing entrances to neighboring buildings. Noncompliance will result in vehicle being towed at exhibitor's expense. Driver must be present in his vehicle at all times.

The authorized time is exclusively for loading and unloading maneuvers, NOT for transporting material to the stands or for mounting. We recommend the vehicle be unloaded and someone left in charge of the material or products, the vehicle is then taken to the public parking lot.

17. STAND CONSTRUCTION ORDER FORM

It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to enquire about the design of neighboring stands/displays.

Only non-flammable, slow burning or fire resistant materials may be used for stand building.

Chemical agents used for cleaning any part of the stand or exhibits shall also be regulated.

Firefighting equipment, emergency exits, passageways and electric notice boards must not be

obstructed or covered.

The use of any toxic and explosive materials or flammable gases is not permitted inside the hall.

Any flammable materials or technical non-flammable gases being used on the stand must be disclosed in writing to the Organizers prior to the event

Any fabric used in the decoration of the stand should have the product application that makes it fire resistant.

Nothing can be attached or adhered to the venue walls or columns.

Rugs and carpeting can only be fixed to the floor by using tape that is self-adhesive on both sides. It is forbidden to use glue or any other material directly on the floors, painted surfaces, signs or glass forming part of the buildings. Any material placed and not removed at the end of the exhibition will be charged to the exhibitor to cover the cost of manual labor and any material required to remove it. The amount will be calculated depending on each particular case.

No other markings shall be made on the floor apart from chalk to define the stand area

All stand builders are responsible for removing all their stand waste material.

Stand builders are not permitted to hang any banners, lighting rigs etc from the roof structure. Please refer to Expo Guadalajara`s Hanging and Rigging form. Only Expo Guadalajara is authorized to hang any type of elements to structure.

The use of products derived from oil or chemicals on hall floors is not permitted.

The maximum construction height for stands is 6.00m. The reverse of walls above 2.5m must be decorated to a satisfactory condition and in a neutral, pale color such as white.

During assembly and disassembly, materials may be placed in the hall aisles, as long as they do not cause obstruction. Approaches to emergency exits must be kept clear at all times. The hall aisles must be cleared immediately upon request by the Venue/Organizers

Whilst there are no specific walling regulations the Organizers would encourage exhibitors to create their stands with an open and inviting design and not build long runs of walling as this can create uninviting gangways for the visitors and blocks off exhibitor’s stands facing their own stand.

The minimum requirements for Exhibitors who have a space only stand are: partition walls of minimum height of 2.5m to perimeter of their stand where it adjoins another stand and floor covering.

All handcart or trolleys must have tires to prevent damage to the pavilion flooring.

It is strictly forbidden to use or exhibit machinery, equipment or dangerous substances that can be: corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic, and bad for your health or flammable. This includes balloons or similar objects which have to be filled with gas unless they are filled with non-flammable, non-toxic gas which is the only way they will be permitted access inside WTC Balloons or similar objects must be inflated outside the hall. Please inform the Organizers should you wish to tether a balloon from your stand.

Cutting or welding tools are not allowed inside venue.

Stand Design Plans All exhibitors (apart from those who have ordered the Organisers’ shell scheme) are obliged to submit stand design plans and include stand dimensions and heights, together with indication points for water/waste and electrics. DEADLINE FOR PLAN RECEPTIONS: MAY 11, 2018

18. STAND MEASUREMENTS Due to the possible variance of thickness of stand walls, an approx. 10cm difference should be allowed for. 19. FLOOR COVERINGS / CARPETS, ETC ORDER FORM All floor coverings must be non-flammable. Exhibitors and Stand Contractors are obliged to remove floor coverings and carpet tape completely from the floor. Should this not be carried out, the exhibitor will be charged the full amount of any necessary cleaning costs. 20. DISASSEMBLY Disassembly starts at 15:01 and ends at 23:59 on Thursday 21st. Dismantling of stands before this time is strictly prohibited. Take in consideration that we will require a small amount of time to remove aisles carpet. All exhibitors and stand builders are obliged to return the hall and rented package stands to their original condition. If not, the exhibitor is fully responsible for any damage.

Organizers and Venue are not able to sign for or take responsibility for any post/deliveries. Deliveries during the exhibition open days are permitted 1 hour before the exhibition opens and 30 minutes after the exhibition closes. All other shipments, consignments, etc should be sent in coordination with Rogers Worldwide Mexico who will deliver goods to the exhibitors stand. It is advisable that Exhibitors from abroad should avoid postal deliveries due to the Mexican import formalities. 22. STORAGE Expo Guadalajara offers the rental of storage area for exhibition materials that can be rented with the Organizing Committee. Subject to availability , event area and applicable rates. Civil Protections limitations must be taken in consideration. At the end of event, it will be the responsibility of the exhibitor to withdraw all materials from the storage. Expo Guadalajara and the Organizing Committee will not be responsible for losses, stolen articles once the storage rental time is over. 23. STORAGE OF EMPTY CRATES Empty crates and boxes must not be stored on exhibitor´s stands or within the hall. Exhibitors requiring storage facilities should contact the official forwarding agent Rogers Worldwide Mexico. 24. CONTRACTORS For the convenience of exhibitors, experienced contractors have been appointed to supply services, which are not provided within the terms of the contract agreement. Certain services, including electrical and water installations, cleaning, security, freight forwarding, etc, may only be carried out by the exclusive contractor appointed by the Organizers. Exhibitors should note that under no circumstances (even where exclusive contractors have been appointed) under which the Organizers can either become contractually bound to an exhibitor or be regarded as a principal or agent in relation to any legal commitment which an exhibitor may enter into with a contractor. All contractors must register at the entrance to hall to receive a contractor’s badge/sticker from the security company. 25. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS ORDER FORM Only the official electrical contractor is authorized to connect to the mains. The electrical installations required for the stands must comply with the following venue regulations:

The electrical wiring at floor level must be for heavy use #12 as a minimum.

All the plugs must be duplex polarized and have to be protected by its own box and/or condulet “FS” box with it respective plug and cover.

The switches used must be thermomagnetic, depending on the capacity of the electrical loads or charges to be used.

All fluorescent light installations must be installed without welded wires directly to the lamps or set up on wood, this must be normalized lights.

All wiring crossing aisle must be protected with carpet, and cover with warning tape.

For security measures direct plug connections are strictly forbidden, all connection must be done inside the registry.

All wiring must adequate to the load of your electrical equipment.

All the electrical equipment areas, fire hydrants, telecom rooms, must not be obstructed with any walls or equipment of any kind.

Floor level connection are not permitted in any traffic areas, walkways, stand entrance, or any place where a short circuit may occur.

The electrical wiring used to feed lamps can be for heavy use or duplex, if and when the caliber is the one required for the electrical load.

In the case of power plants, these must be previously authorized in writing by Expo Guadalajra and placed outside the rooms without obstructing the emergency exists. The area must be cordoned off with warning tape or barricades put up, making sure it is touching the ground, verifying that there are no leaks in the fuel deposit and having a fire extinguisher with CO2 or PQS that is valid and operable. Also signs must be put up indicating it is an “Electrical Hazard”.

Exhibitors must be aware that the following installations: electrical, hydro sanitary, compressed air, voice and data are supplied inside the stand and taken from the available panel closest to the location requested and have the possibility of invading hallways and other stands.

Cables used for conducting electrical energy, audio and video must be covered without obstructing passers-by. If they are placed under the carpeting the borders must be marked with warning tape.

Appliances, bulbs, lamps, spots or others of any kind must be connected by way of connection boxes or sockets, adequately insulated.

In case of no-compliance with these guidelines, Expo Guadalajara will remove the electrical supply to the sands that do not follow the rules set in the manual

26. STAND RECEPTIONS Stand receptions can take place during official exhibition open hours and are subject to approval. Stand receptions must end with the close of the exhibition. All stand receptions must be applied for in writing at least 7 days in advance and require written authorization from the Organizers. Receptions can only go for 1 hour past close of show. Consider that Expo Guadalajara has exclusivity of this services so you may ask ahead of time. 27. STAND BUILDING SECURITY ADVICE Stand builders and sub contractors must have personal protection equipment for their activities in compliance with the NOM-017-STPS-2008. Equipment for personal protection- use and handling in working areas. Depending on activity they should use the required elements as established by the Norm.

Head: impact protection Helmet, dielectric helmet

Eyes and face: Goggles or facial mask

Ears: ear plugs

Superior Extremities: special gloves depending on materials handled

Inferior Extremities: Occupational shoes, impact protection or industrial boots.

Others: protection if working on heights.

Staff working on high altitude must use harnesses or other equipment to prevent falls in compliance with NOM-009-STPS-2011, working conditions during work on high altitude. 28. STAND SECURITY ORDER FORM The Organizers will provide general security within the exhibition halls. However, the individual security of stands and exhibits lies within the responsibility of each exhibitor. Valuables should be locked away overnight and removed at the beginning of disassembly. Static security guards for the stands can be ordered. 29. AUDIO VISUAL ORDER FORM 30. LABOUR FOR STAND CONSTRUCTION ORDER FORM 31. GAS Gas or any other flammable materials are strictly prohibited inside the venue. 32. COMPRESSED AIR ORDER FORM General lighting and air conditioning in the hall will be provided by the Venue. Installation and the use of electricity, compressed air and water & waste to exhibitors´ stands must be ordered and paid for by the exhibitor. The Venue has air conditioned systems that will be working only during the days of the exhibition, not during set up or dismantling. 33. WATER INSTALLATION ORDER FORM Exhibitors are not allowed to make any connections to the mains themselves, should service be required please order through Expo Guadalajara Service module. 34. STAND CATERING ORDER FORM The exhibitors that require catering on their stand could order it through the order form. Expo Guadalajara has the exclusive rights for these services. No food or drinks from the outside are allowed to be brought into the exhibit hall. 35. STAND CLEANING ORDER FORM The cleaning of the exhibition hall and public areas will be the responsibility of the Organizers. Basic stand cleaning is included in the shell scheme stands only, such as vacuuming and removing waste. Stand cleaning is not included in space only/self-build stands. Should you require to book cleaning or more specialized cleaning, please complete the relevant order form. 36. CUSTOMS ORDER FORM All import and or export procedures will be undertaken by Rogers Worldwide Mexico. If you require special maneuvers please contact:

DEMONSTRATION OF MACHINERY In the interest of other exhibitors and visitors, exhibitors are requested to limit the running times of noisy machinery to fixed demonstration periods. The Organizers reserve the right to curtail or ban demonstrations if the noise levels rise above 70dB or if exhaust fumes cause disagreement. 38. MUSICAL PRESENTATIONS ADDRESS SECTION The sound of any audiovisual equipment must not exceed under any circumstances 70 decibels SPL at a 2 meter distance. The Organizers reserve the right to curtail or ban demonstrations if complaints are received. It is mandatory for exhibitors who wish to have live musical presentations on their stands to contact the Organizers. 39. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDINGS Filming, photographing and reproduction sketching of stands and in particular of exhibits is only permitted, even for private use, if the exhibitor in question has given definite permission beforehand. If films or photographs or sketches are intended for commercial use, it is also necessary to seek written permission from the Organizers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Inc. 40. MEDICAL The Organizers will provide a medical service from assembly through to disassembly. 41. TELECOMMUNICATION AND INTERNET ORDER FORM To hire wired or wireless internet you must fill the Expo Guadalajara order form. 42. TEMPORARY STAFF / HOSTESSES / TRANSLATORS

WASTE DISPOSAL Exhibitors are reminded that they are responsible for the removal of all waste during build-up and breakdown, including double sided tapes used for carpets. Failure to do so could result in the exhibitor being charged if waste is found on the stand after his departure from the hall. 45. GENERAL SECURITY It is forbidden to introduce any kind of container or recipient subject to pressure that contain materials classified as dangerous. STPS-2011 recipients containers and vapor generators or furnaces. It is strictly forbidden the use of pyrotechnic of any kind in the inside of the venue, also the use of any object producing fire or flame in any part of decoration or stands (candles, etc.) or during activities in the stand. Evacuation route signs cannot be blocked or removed at any time by decorations or event production. Fire equipment hydrants should not be moved or blocked and should have free access at all times. 46. INSURANCE ADDRESS SECTION The Organizers will not be responsible for any financial loss by theft, fire, or other cause whatsoever sustained by any exhibitor by reason of any defect in the building, fire, storm, tempest, lightning, national emergency, earthquake, labor disputes, strikes, explosion, force majeure or any other cause not within the control of the Organizers. This also includes the cancellation, abandonment, delay or postponement of the opening of the show, or the inability to use the venue. Additionally, the Organizers will not be responsible for the safety, loss of, damage or destruction of any exhibits or property of or injury to any exhibitor, its staff, contractors or agents or any other person, by theft, fire, or other cause whatsoever sustained by any exhibitor by reason of any defect in the building, fire, storm, tempest, lightning, national emergency, earthquake, labor disputes, strikes, explosion, force majeure or any other cause not within the control of the Organizers. 47. CHILDREN Children under the age of 18 will not be admitted into the hall throughout assembly, the exhibition open days and disassembly. Fastener Fair Mexico is strictly a trade exhibition. 48. BUSINESS CENTRE/COPY CENTRE There is a business center with rooms to rent for Exhibitors plus a copy center for printing and stationery requirements 49. ANIMALS Animals are not permitted in the exhibition venue.

50. RAFLES AND OTHER GAMES If you plan to carry rafles or other type of games in your stand you should have the adequate permit that should be obtained with the Secretaria de Gobernacion and send copy of legal permit to [email protected]. 51. SMOKING Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hall or in any area inside of the building. 52. TAXES Exhibitors are responsible to pay for all government taxes for the transportation of their goods. Please refer to your customs agent. 53. IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES / FIRE, EARTHQUAKE Please follow the instructions given by the venue, the alarms will sound, emergency exit doors in loading bays will open automatically. Earthquake: do not run, exit the hall calmly and do not panic. Fire: remember that the smoke rises, keep low since fresh cleaner air is in the floor area. 54. SHOW MANAGEMENT OFFICES – MACK BROOKS EXHIBITIONS INC The Organizers’ Offices will be located within the hall and will be staffed throughout the assembly, exhibition open days and disassembly.
