Spring 2018, Volume XII, Issue 2 EOF Staff: Make an Appointment 856-415-2208 College Center, room 210 In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the G.O.L.D Club hosted a Chips and Salsa event for the RCGC community. The event consisted of learning different styles of Latin music — salsa, merengue and bachata. Students learned the basic dance steps for each style of music and then practiced their new moves with a partner. Jasmarie Acre joined the EOF team in early January as the EOF recruiter. Jasmarie currently resides in Burlington County. She attended Rutgers University– Camden where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and continued her graduate studies at the Rutgers School of Social Work where she earned her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Management and Policy. Jasmarie is an EOF alumni and has previously worked with the EOF office at Rutgers University–Camden as a Program Assistance; it was through this experience where she found her passion for working in a higher education setting. In her free time, Jasmarie loves to watch movies and playing with her dog, Bella. “I am extremely excited to work for the EOF program at RCGC because this program has truly made an impact on my life as a whole. I was able to attend college free and become the first in my family to attend and graduate from college. I am a proud EOF alumni and I want to help others achieve greatness.” — Jasmarie Acre EOF Welcomes EOF Recruiter

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the G.O.L.D Club

hosted a Chips and Salsa event for the RCGC community. The

event consisted of learning different styles of Latin music —

salsa, merengue and bachata. Students learned the basic

Refuel the G.O.L.D Club donated

$250 to restock the pantry for

our RCGC’s students.

In collaboration with Student

Government Association and

other clubs on campus, the

G.O.L.D club was able to raise

$180 for the Hurricane Relief

in Puerto Rico.
