Enhance Your Social Media WHATTTTT???!!! How can I do more on my social media more than what I am doing? Well the more important question is what are you using it for? The whole point of social media is to showcase a more attractive part of your business to gain followers, likes, and comments that hopefully one day those people turn into clients/customers. The other part of social media is to gain traffic towards your website for more information about your services or products.

Whats content makes for good social media post?

Each social media platform has it’s own features that make it unique for posting. Below I’ll break down each social media platform that we use for our web design company and how you can use it for your benefit.

Facebook: When using facebook the point is to start a conversation about whatever is that you are offering. The catch is not to sale anyone on your products, but give FREE advice and tips to people. More than likely they’ll come back when they are fully prepared to purchase from you. If your on facebook trying to get people to your website all day without giving them a reason to come to your website they’ll never come and then you’ll start to feel as if social media isn’t going to be the best avenue for you. Use hastags in your post to target your audience better. Believe it or not, people actually search those hashtags to see what attractive post will come up. Some hashtags that we use are: detroit web design, web design detroit, Detroit online marketing, just to name a few. These hashtags are used on very platform for people to search and find new connections and hopefully start a new conversation about web design we have going on in Detroit.

Twitter: Twitter is cool because we don’t have to post pictures all the time with our post. We can easily and quickly say something about web design Detroit and gain followers or have debates on there. Everything we post doesn’t always have to be about web design and online marketing. It can be about the championship game or about the commercials or any other current events going on in the world that shows people that we are just more than robots at a web design company in Detroit. Be free, think less when it comes to social media. Social media is fun and don’t have to be so up tight.

Instagram: Instagram is cool and fun, but can very time consuming. The great thing about instagram is that there’s a lot of people using this social media platform daily that is in benefit of you as a business. Use those hashtags to the most. We’ve received more business from instagram than facebook and twitter combine. We’ve actually got our first international client from instagram. Creating content for social media is going to be as hard as you make it. When giving people information is simple in its self don’t make creating a picture hard. There’s tons of free pictures on google that will help promote your content to viewers online. Remember you are giving free information you’re not selling anything so don’t worry about copyrights from pictures. While using social media let it be a tool that helps promote your business and the products that you offer. Am I telling you never to promote your products on your social media pages? No not all, but if you provide a service, give free advice that will help people become better in what they do. Not only does that give your company a good look, but it help with your google ranking and everyone wants to rank higher on google.

Remember to always use hashtags, post consistently even if you’re just saying hello to your followers and post quality content that help other people become better. Plus they’re going to get the information from some anyway why not it be you. Be the bridge between someone not knowing and someone knowing.
