Given such speed of change, the challenges faced by individuals, businesses and nations push us to collectively challenge the changes that we have already made to survive. The best example in the most recent times is the story of iPad. Within a year of the launch of the iPad, Apple themselves had to challenge their own product, which one would have thought to be a break through innovation. It is in this background we have sought international and local speakers to share their thoughts from individual to a nation how survival is possible by challenging changes in the changing challenge environment. She launched 'Sustainability', Shangri-La's social responsibility campaign to align efforts on CO2 foot printing, sustainable procurement and initiatives with people with disabilities across over 70 hotels globally. She reports directly to the President and CEO, and works through every hotel champion to ensure group wide progress versus sustainability targets set. Patricia has worked with many NGOs including the Asia Foundation and WWF. She was instrumental in introducing sustainability at Ayala land, Inc., Philippines' biggest land developer where she worked for almost four years. She holds a double MA in globalisation and governance from the University of Birmingham, a vegetarian, she loves travelling and learning languages and regularly practices yoga. Jessica Cox Motivational Speaker USA Challenged to greatness Jessica is recognised internationally as an inspirational keynote speaker. Born without arms, Jessica now flies airplanes, drives cars, and otherwise lives a normal life using her feet as others use their hands. She holds the title of the first person without arms in the American Tae Kwon-Do Association to get a black belt and the first woman pilot in aviation history to fly with her feet. Convinced that the way we think has a greater impact on our lives than our physical constraints, she chose to pursue a degree in psychology while in college at the University of Arizona. He has written and lectured extensively on the nature of sacred stories, symbols and rituals and their relevance in modern times. He has 14 years experience in the health care industry with organisations such as Sanofi Aventis and Apollo Health Care, and he had a brief stint as Business Advisor with Ernst & Young. Currently, he works with Kishore Biyani of the Future Group, India's largest retail company. He also consults as leadership coach, culture consultant and storytelling expert to other corporations and NGOs. Harris is a qualified Banker and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking London. He had a long and distinguish career of 39 years at Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd, where he held many positions and retired as the Senior Deputy General Manager - Corporate Banking. Harris has extensive experience in the fields of finance, trade services, trade finance, corporate banking and management consultancy spanning the private sector. He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (Designate) of Sampath Bank in October 2008 and appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in January 2009. Andrew is part of the Institute's Senior Management Team and has strategic oversight of CIMA's key markets, including China, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, Ireland, Eastern Europe, Malaysia and the UK.
