Feeder cables are typically used for mobiletelecommunication applications, such as GSM,WCDMA (UMTS), TDMA, D-AMPS, PCN, CDMAand TETRA. The function of the feeder cable is totransmit signal power between the transmissionequipment and the antenna in all environmentalconditions.
The superflexible RFF cables are typically used asjumpers to connect the feeder cable to thetransmission equipment or to the antenna inmobile telecommunication applications. Theextraflexible RFE cables can be used for indoorand rooftop applications due to their excellentbending performance. In some cases RFE cablescan eliminate the use of jumpers.
Low attenuation at high frequencies, uniformimpedance and low return loss are the mostimportant qualities of NK CABLES brandedradio frequency cables. In addition, our BHFjacketed RF cables pass the UL 1666 Flame testand can be supplied with a UL Rating of CATVR.

Stable electrical performance is ensured byhigh quality superflexible cable and specialconnector head design.
The design is based on three main principlesensuring compliance with water immersiontesting:• 7-16 head sealing with O-rings• induction soldering of the inner and
outer conductors providing 360 degrees of contact and sealing• enclosing the connection at the rear
of the connector with injection molded plastic providing the external
waterproof seal and stain relief
Additional protection is maintained duringstorage and transport by a watertightprotective cap on each end.

Handling and transport
• Handling instructions are attached on each drum• The reeling direction of the cable is indicated by
an arrow• For transportation and storage the cable is protected
by wooden (19 mm) lagging• Plastic cover is placed on the drum under the cable
and also over the outer layer of the cable, beneaththe lagging
• Cable ends are sealed with a shrinkable plastic tube
