OkmSystem is a simple custom-designed Immobilisation
system which combines an elastic cotton fabric with rigid
polyurethane foam filling. This enables quickly and ef-fectively making an exact copy of the part of the body that has to be immobilised.
Its extraordinary lightness provides great comfort. It is applied
in under seven minutes and in fifteen minutes the or-
thosis is fully functional. Thanks to its zip system,
it can be withdrawn to care for the patient’s personal hygiene,
temporarily further the rehabilitation of the area, make any
proper dressings, monitor the evolution of the pathology, etc..
If necessary the zip can be locked to prevent the orthosis from
being removed, if the specialist doctor feels this is useful.
OkmSystem is designed for patients who need to go on carrying out their daily work
in comfort.

Specially recommended for application of OkmSystem
orthoses as an inner layer in plaster casts and as a com-
plementary material in the vacuum process. OKM TUB is
a disposable product which can be sterilised. It comes in
individual boxes with 10-metre rolls.
It stands out for its high tolerance in the most sensitive
skins. 100% cotton.
A tubular bandage with great transversal elasticity and the minimum longitudinal deformation which provides constant and uniform compression.
This is a disposable product which can be reused several times by the same patient. It comes in individual boxes with 10-metre rolls.
One important feature is its high tolerance for more sensitive skins. 80% cotton, 15% latex and 5%polyester.

Moulded blocks
OKM has different models of rigid foam blocks for mak-ing moulds for orthoses, prosthesis and chair-cor-sets with CAD/CAM technology.
Their sizes have been designed to cut down the costs of making the piece as far as possible.
Our blocks are compatible with any kind of machine, as well as with their fixing systems. They are extremely com-pression-resistant, thus ensuring that the
milled part has the required shape during the vacuum process.
Our engineering department can develop blocks to suit individual customer’s needs.

A flexible (expansive) polyurethane with features similar to those of human adipose tissue, suitable for insoles. It is used with isocyanate 180 catalyst.
Its lightness, maximum absorption and fast recuper-ation mean that this is recommended for diabetic patients, diabetic foot injuries, polyarthritic and foot amputations. In Lisfranc and Chopart amputations it is possible to construct the foot integrated in the insole.
It is advisable to cover ELAX insole supports with low-hard-ness ORTOEVA in order to maintain the material’s flexible properties.
A flexible (non-expansive) polyurethane foam. This is used with isocyanate 110 catalyst. Its great absorption capacity means very comfortable insoles can be made.
Appropriate for all kinds of insoles, including ampu-tations. Allows constructing the forefoot integrated in the insole in cases of mutilation.
This is a 1000 density material.

FlexFoamFlexible polyurethane foam (expansive). Recommended for making posture seats for patients with disabil-ities, scoliosis and deformities. This system enables making seats fitting the patient’s anatomy, from taking the cast to its final finish. This thus prevents hyper pressure and reduces the appearance of ulcers and scabs.
This is used with isocyanate catalyst 120. The seat can be made quickly and economically.
Desmold F (demoulder) and Isolate C (isolate) have to be used for foaming the material.

It is easy to thin just before using this, and enables nailing and stapling. By incorporating Micro F charge savings in the product and greater lightness can be obtained.
