What you need• 3–4 players • One board game • Game cards (one per player) • Dice and counters
How to play� You are going on an adventure! Take a card each. The card shows you what you have
got in your bag for the adventure.2 Put your counters on Start. The person who throws the highest number starts the
game. Take it in turns to throw the dice. 3 Read the instructions on the squares. When you land on a square where you need
something, look on your card. If you have got the object, you can go forward. If you have not got it, you must go back!
4 The winner is the person who gets to the Finish first. Good luck!

Expressions Have you got ... ?, No, I haven’t./Yes, I have., Throw the

Photocopy pages 1 and 2 for each group of three to four pupils. If you
wish you can enlarge the game to A3 size. Cut out one game card for
each pupil.
Each group needs one dice and each player needs a counter.
Divide the class into groups of four. If you have a group of three, you
can write an extra item from Player Ds card onto each of the other
three cards.
Read the game rules aloud and check comprehension.
Let them use the rules to settle disputes while you monitor their English.

Extra rules (optional)
The second time a player lands on a square where they must say
something (for example, Say three farm animals) tell them they must
say different items to the first time they landed on that square.

Haz copias de las páginas 1 y 2 para cada grupo de tres o cuatro
alumnos. Puedes ampliar la página del juego en formato A3. Recorta
las tarjetas de la página 2, una tarjeta por alumno en cada grupo.
Cada grupo necesita un dado y una ficha por jugador.
Divide la clase en grupos de cuatro. Si tienes algún grupo de tres
alumnos, puedes escribir uno de los objetos de la tarjeta D en cada una
de las otras tres tarjetas.
Lee las reglas del juego en voz alta y asegúrate de que las entienden.
Mientras juegan, comprueba que usan las reglas correctamente y que
hablan en inglés en todo momento.
Adventure gAme rules

Reglas del juego
1 ¡Empieza la aventura! Coged una tarjeta cada uno. Cada tarjeta
tiene distintos objetos que necesitaréis durante la aventura.
2 Poned las fichas en la casilla Start. El jugador que saque el número
más alto empieza el juego. Tirad por turnos.
3 Leed las instrucciones de cada casilla. Cuando caigáis en una casilla
en la que necesitéis algún objeto mirad si lo tenéis en vuestra
tarjeta. Si lo tenéis podéis seguir adelante, si no deberéis retroceder
hasta la casilla indicada.
4 El ganador será el que llegue antes a la casilla Finish. ¡Suerte!
Regla extra (opcional)
La segunda vez que un jugador cae en una casilla en la que debe decir
algo, por ejemplo, Say three farm animals, no podrá repetir las palabras
que dijo la primera vez sino que deberá decir palabras nuevas.
