AIESEC in Hungary is honored to announce that CEE LDS 2015 is taking place in our country, from 5th – 9th of May 2015.

CEE LDS is an annual regional conference of AIESEC in Central and Eastern Europe gathering young leaders from all over the world at one place. For one amazing week the strongest leaders of the local entities will come together to discuss, share experiences and move our region forward. The conference will also strengthen the bonds between CEE region countries and help widen our horizon to see the bigger picture. The main aim of the conference is to connect the CEE region, develop its leaders and prepare for a successful summer peak together.

The main agenda is going to be from 6th to 9th May.

• Study Tour – 3rd – 4th May • Youth to Business Forum – 5th May • Gala Dinner – 6th May • Hungarian Special Night – 7th May • Global Village – 8th May

On the first day of the conference you will have the unique opportunity to connect with the top actors of the corporate world in a historical place of Budapest. The aim of the day is to share your ideas and thoughts together with some of the top companies about the topic: Where is the Talent of Europe? During the day you will have the opportunity to attend several workshops, partnership launches and round table talks, ask, learn and also expand your professional network.

S tudy Tour

Study Tour will take place in Budapest, which is called the Pearl of Danube, because of its numerous cultural, historical and natural beauties. Budapest is the capital and the largest city of Hungary and with the population of 2 million it forms a dynamic, lively atmosphere which is widely known in Europe. The Study Tour is scheduled between 3-4th of May, directly before the conference. During these two days you will have the opportunity to discover the city on land and water, spend an unforgettable afternoon with a glass of traditional Hungarian wine, and have an awesome party with us!

The cost of the Study Tour is 50 €, which includes 2 nights in a hostel at the heart of Budapest and the price of the programs.

H ungarian Night During this special night the delegates can gain insight into the traditional Hungarian culture through our music and folkdance performance. We would like to invite you to discover the spice of Hungary!

G lobal village

Meet new people, learn new cultures! All the delegates will have the opportunity to present their traditional food, beverages, clothes, music and culture! Global village is going to happen on the last night of the conference. Please bring drinks, food and items (for example flag) to represent your entity to the whole delegation.

As the first and biggest Local Committee in Hungary, Budapest University is delivering quality experiences since 1972. During the 43 years Budapest University managed to grow and develop year by year and prove its relevance in the CEE region as top 5th Local Committee. Throughout this journey of continuous learning we have not forgotten our past and could keep many traditions and customs alive, which ensure the cultural unity of Budapest University and bound us to our long past. We always strive for excellence and provide professional and valuable services to all our stakeholders.

For this term we planned altogether 441 exchanges. Our focus programs are iGIP and oGIP. During the following year we would like to grow both in the quality and quantity of these two programs to ensure professional experience and increase the amount of internship programs. Our membership counts more than 100 enthusiastic AIESECers, which requires us to put more emphasis on improving our Team Member and Team Leader programs, thus give more and more people the chance to live the AIESEC experience and become conscious leaders of the future.

It is an honour to be the host LC of CEE LDS 2015. This conference contributes to providing quality international experiences, which is one of our main focuses this year. Openness and cultural diversity represents a great value for our Local Committee.

It deserves the nickname "land of waters", as it holds the largest lake in Europe (Lake Balaton) and is crossed by mighty rivers which divide and define its regions. Even its capital city is split by the Danube River, with Buda on the Western side and Pest on the Eastern bank. Hungary is also a land of particularly rich folk heritage. Folk culture is not only preserved in museums, however traditions live on in many of Hungary's small villages, kept alive by local communities, and even modern-day city-dwellers do things that might surprise you first. Hostel On the first day of the conference (5th May) you will participate on the Youth to Business Forum which will start early in the morning. We suggest you to arrive to Budapest on the 4th and stay one night there. For this we would like to offer you some hostels (the hostels are in the city center, 10min from each other). The conference will take place in a hotel at Lake Balaton, in a city called Keszthely. The "Hungarian Sea" is one of Hungary's most precious treasures and most frequented resorts. It is also the largest lake in Central Europe. Keszthely is known as the "capital of Balaton", but many people mention it as "the city of memories". Festetics palace is the symbol of Keszthely, which is the 4th biggest palace in Hungary. Hotel Helikon Sport and Conference Hotel Hotel Helikon is a three-star hotel, offering the delegates first class service. It is situated at the marvelous Lake Balaton. It has direct access to the beach. The hotel is providing 224 guest rooms with view of the lake and wonderful Keszthely Mountains. Most of the rooms have a balcony, all of them have 2 beds and are equipped with TV, hairdryer and bathroom. Hotel Helikon is 190 kilometers away from Budapest, easily accessible by train, bus or car. For more information about the hotel check the website. Delegates will be transported by private buses from the venue of Youth to Business to the hotel.

Study Tour (05.03.-05.04.2015, Budapest) A pre-conference program. The fee covers accommodation for 2 nights in a hostel at the heart of Budapest and the price of the programs for two days. The fee does not cover food and transportation. Please note that once your application is final but cancellation happens, we can not reimburse the fee of the Study Tour.

CEE LDS 2015 conference (05.05.-05.09.2015, Keszthely) The fee of the Conference and Youth to Business which covers accommodation, food, sessions and every additional program for five days. Also, one transportation from Budapest to Keszthely on the 5th of May and one from Keszthely to Budapest on the 9th of May is covered.

Damage fee deposit The fee is used in case of any damage or disappearance caused by delegates during the conference. In case there is no damage or disappearance, the fee is paid back during check-out.

Cancellation fee conditions of CEE LDS conference The fee that must be paid if you cancel your registration. Please note that there are different amounts based on the period when you cancel your application stated in the chart above. There is no cancellation fee option for the Study Tour.

Conference Fee

1. You receive the payment details in email after registration 2. We send you the invoice, which we issue based on the data you

provide us in the application form (eg.:your LC is paying for your fee, so you can give us the name, address and tax-number of your LC for the invoicing)

3. You pay the invoice 4. You get a notification that your payment is ok so you are good

to go 5. You pay the damage fee deposit in cash at the beginning of the

conference. Without it, you can not check-in 6. If you still have questions, we are more than happy to

Also all delegates shall have insurance covering their stay in Hungary otherwise they are not permitted to attend the conference. Please note that each delegate is responsible for arranging their own insurance.

this form. After the registration deadline the AI will confirm all the delegates’ application, and as soon as it happened you will get the needed information about the payment system and the visa process via email.
