• Source materials covering different themes

• Title set by student

• Various formats – should normally include an oral commentary

• Must explore alternative perspectives

• Are a starting point

• Should lead to a title

• Syllabus requires bibliography - implications

• The skills and approaches they have learned in the iterations of the critical path will be sufficient.
