SEASON RECORDS WATCH BROOKS EARNS SAC AND REGION HONORS Senior Craig Brooks claimed both SAC and NCBWA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week honors on March 31. Brooks had two wins and faced the minimum of 30 batters over 10 innings during two appearances. In relief against WSSU, Brooks fanned 10 in four innings and surrendered one hit. He also gave up just one hit in six shutout innings at Coker with a career-high 14 strikeouts.

BROOKS HITS CENTURY MARK Craig Brooks has notched 100 strikeouts for the second straight year. He joins Heath Bost and JJ Jankowski as the only pitchers to reach triple digits in strikeouts in back-to-back seasons.

BOWDEN EXTENDS STREAK Chance Bowden kept his season-long 16-game hitting streak alive with a single against Pfeiffer. The streak matches Blake Houston for the longest for an Indian this season. Only seven players at Catawba have recorded streaks of 20 games or more.
