. . .Saturday night

Auctioneer Jay Heavener revs up the

crowd with a little wit and a lot of great

buys

Located in the Goodlettsville Plaza, which

is easily found on the corner of Rivergate

Parkway and Dickerson Pike, Auctioneer

Jay Heavener has the perfect site for his

new auction house. The shopping center

also is the home to H.G. Hills and Dollar

Market, so parking is ample, well lit and

very conveniently located.

When you go to one of these auctions you

expect to see a lot of great items for sale,

you expect to get them at at your price and

you want to enjoy the experience. I can

honestly say that all three of these re-

quirements were met, not only for me but

judging from the reaction of those in at-

tendance, everyone seemed to be having a

good time.

Jay greets some late arrivals as they enter

with, “Folks, if you’re just coming in,

everything is going high.” Quick wit along

with jabs back and forth with the people

in attendance is a sure sign that things are

going well. After all, whether everyone

bought something that night or not, they

all had a good time and since the mer-

chandise changes every week, it is a good

chance that they return over and over

again.

If you are in

the market for

p r a c t i c a l l y

anything from

shampoo to

sectional sofas

then you need

to make your

plans to spend

a relaxing and

enter ta in ing

evening in Goodlettsville. Who knows

what you will find.
