FAITHFULNESS has always been rewarded. Since the beginning of our church here, I have personally seen how God blesses the individ-

uals and families who decide to serve Him faithfully. The blessings are not just in terms of material or fi nancial bounty. Many times, they are much better, like having a strong family, possessing a contented life and receiving spiritual blessings that money cannot buy. Though striving to be faithful may not always be easy, we must realize that God’s rewards are worth going through some tough times.

What our church enjoys now, such as the buildings, ministries, mission works, daughter churches, and changed lives, did not just happen as they are. They are the results of the dedication, commitment and devotion of God’s people who decided to be faithful in their Christianity. I then think, “What more blessings can God entrust to us if many more would join and decide to be faithful in serving Him?” Involving in our upcoming Missions Conference, participating in our new Sunday afternoon program starting November and joining our Family Camp this December are just few opportunities to show our faithfulness.

Our great God and heavenly Father is so faithful, and He deserves our faithful service. Let us desire to grow more and know of His faithfulness, so that with love, we would desire to be used of Him. May we allow His Word through our personal devotions and preachings to motivate us to serve Him even more until He comes!

Victorious Christian Living (Honor of the Faithful)Proverbs 20:6

I. The right foundation of the faithful’s honour is humility. A. The safest place for honour to dwell is in humility.B. The strongest propeller of honour is humility’s submissiveness.C. The serenest position is in the possession of humility.

II. The rightful founder of the faithful’s honour is the humanity of Christ. A. The Devil is the number one usurper of authority and honour. B. The Devil wants us to be included in his plan of rebellion and in getting the honour due only to God.C. The Devoted Saviour reclaimed what is rightfully His through His faithful obedience.

III. The rewarding fruitfulness of the faithful’s honour is due to their honesty in their faithfulness. A. God’s requirement for his servants is to be faithful.B. God’s people’s responsibility is to become faithful stewards.C. God rewards His faithful servants with honour that will last for eternity.

If we are correct and right in our Christian life at every point, but refuse to stand for the truth at a particular point where the battle rages—then we are traitors to Christ.

Behold the King is coming,

Redemption draweth nigh.

Our Lord will sound the trumpet,

and we’ll meet Him in the sky.

King Jesus will reward us

when we see Him on that day.

And if He finds us faithful

we will hear Him proudly say,

“Well done,” “Well done.”

You’ve been a good and faithful servant,

Your race has been well run.

“Well done,” “Well done.”

You’ve brought great honor

to the Father and glory to the Son.

You’ve been a faithful servant,

and now I say “Well done.”

Enter into the joy of your Lord,

“Well done,” “Well done,” “Well done.”

So tell the Gospel story

and never be ashamed.

Go forth to every nation

and proclaim the Saviour’s name.

Bring freedom to each captive

through the blood of Calvary’s love.

And Jesus will reward you

when He comes back from above.

The Netherlands (also known as Holland) is a nation so overcrowded that they pay people to leave. If a Dutch family will emigrate to another country, the government will reward them for doing it because of their very small land area and, by compa-rison, large population. We wonder how many take advantage of the offer. When we emigrate from this world, as Revelation 2:23 tells us, the Lord will repay each of us according to our deeds.

Simon Bolivar is regarded as the George Washington of Latin America. He is credited with winning freedom for that part of the world. Every town of any size has a statue of him. Yet Bolivar died penniless, wearing a borrowed shirt. The good we do is not always appreciated nor always rewarded in this life. But Jesus assures us that even a cup of cold water does not go unrewarded in the world that is to come.Simon Bolivar does not go unrewarded

Simon Bolivar does not go unrewarded in the world that is Simon Bolivar in the world that is to come.Simon Bolivar to come.
