The 810E is the smallest machine in the John Deere forwarder line. Due to its slim dimensions, the 810E is a superior machine on tight skid roads in early to late thinning operations.

Redesigned rotating and leveling cabin swiftly and smoothly helps maximize operator performance. Cabin-door remote-control and approach-light functions are standard in the E-Series rotating and leveling cabin. Standard automatic air conditioning and a host of additional comfort options further enhance the operating experience. An optional fixed cabin is also available to provide unsurpassed visibility and comfort.

ActiveSlew Floating (ASF) is a standard 810E Forwarder feature that controls boom slew and aligns it to machine movement, keeping the boom steady inside the load space or on top of the load.

Intuitive machine controlJohn Deere has made every effort to achieve best-in-class machine control. Armrests, hand-operated controls, and base machine dashboard have been designed with the input of actual machine operators to achieve the best possible ergonomics and productivity. TimberMatic F-12 control system enables operator-specific settings and easy-to-learn intuitive system navigation.

With the exclusive TimberLink machine-performance and condition-monitoring system, a drop in performance is easily noted and can be corrected immediately. The system automatically detects and collects all major machine data. Work-cycle information such as loading time serves to improve boom settings and operator work techniques.

Based on field tests, the redesigned John Deere rotating and leveling cabin dampens vibrations during

transport by up to 30–50 percent.

Cabin equipment has been designed to the smallest detail to keep you comfortably productive. Operator comfort is a key focus of the ergonomic E-Series cabin.

Optional new PC provides proven state-of-the-art technology for forwarder applications.

John Deere CF forwarder booms perform highly productive log handling. The TimberMatic F-12 control system provides easy adjustments and operator-specific settings, for seamless boom control. Intelligent Boom Control (IBC) option is a milestone in forwarder technology. The boom is accurate and easy to operate, with the operator directly controlling the boom tip instead of independent boom-joint movements. Standard Smooth Boom Control (SBC) improves boom movements, making machine operation more effective, accurate, and comfortable.

Optional IBC for the 1010E allows the operator to direct the reach and height of the boom tip parallel to the ground. One joystick moves the boom tip horizontally away from and toward the machine, while a second guides it vertically up and down, for faster cycle times and more precise placement. Added sensors actively dampen and protect main-boom and jib-boom structures, for longer wear life.
