To: WFC A/B Class World Series TeamsRe: World Series August 1-7 in Myrtle Beach, SC

We are excited to welcome teams to the 2011 WFC A/B World Series. This year is a record for attends. Thank you everyone in advance. Teams that have not secure entry fees we suggest sending fees in ASAP or use our PayPal.

A team representative MUST check in at Grand Park Complex from 9-11:00am. They must fill out a survey, give a cell number, pick up bracket, water and pick activities. Teams must have 2 copies of a signed WFC Roster. One will be turned in and the other will be signed and returned. Then during all WFC World Series games the head coach must have the WFC signed roster along with copies of birth certificates & team insurance in the dugout throughout all WFC games played.Coaches remember failure to turn in a signed WFC roster can lead to disqualification. Judgment Calls cannot be protested. All protests are $200.00 cash per request. After a team turns in a WFC signed roster at check in, no players can be added. Brackets will be available at check in. Example: No players can be on a 14u team roster & play on that team then play on & be on another age group team roster in the same event. This will get Both teams DQ.

Opening Ceremonies will be held on Monday August 1st from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Grand Park fields 1, 2 &3 located in Market Commons. All teams are welcome to attend but attendance is not mandatory. A team representative MUST check in for all teams between 9AM and 11AM on Monday August 1, 2011. Teams that will be attending need to confirm in advance and be there no later than 11 am. There are no charge a gate fee for this event. Teams and fans do not need a pass and may come and go at their leisure during this entire event.

WFC will start with the Parade of Teams at 11:15am. Freebies will be thrown out such as WFC t-shirts, Wendy’s Frisbees, party beads, beach balls, WFC World Series miniature commemorative bats, beach towels, etc. during the Parade of Teams.

Opening ceremony activities will include contests such as the Fastest Runner Contest (all ages), Home Run Contest (all ages), and Minute to Win It games (like the show). Teams practice these fun gamesWin in 60 seconds games are. Stack 6 dice on a popstix, put a cookie in your mouth, blow cups down by blowing up a balloon, stack 6 cupcakes on your foreheadTrophies will be awarded to winners.Ride Makerz will have an interactive booth showcasing a few of the many remote control carz available at their storefront located at Broadway at the Beach.

All teams will receive goody bags with coupons, goodies and local information from surrounding businesses.WFC has arranged for a Team Drawing to win prize packages donated by local Myrtle Beach sponsors. We will no longer be having a gift bag trade between teams or mail out coupons. Go here:

The 8u teams will play at Pepper-GeddingThe 10u A/B will play at Grand ParkThe 12u A/B undecided due to our numbers have double in this age groupThe 14u A/BThe 16uA/BThe 18u A/B will play at Pepper-Gedding,All location should be set by June 29th. WFC reserve the right to change locations.

The WFC A/B Class World Series schedule & teams will be posted roughly by July 25th 2011. The schedule will be as follows: pool play could starts Monday Aug. 1st at 4:00pm if needed, With most teams playing either two games a day or one game for one day. Some age groups Wed. morning bracket play will start, while others will start Thurs. Based on the weather, amount of teams, & many more reasons different age groups could have Championships on Thur., Fri, Sat, or Sunday.
