Dear Readers,

We are in the final stage of the year 2017 and people are now getting ready to welcome the next-year. But before talking about the coming year let's talk about the positives of 2017. Films like Raees, Golmaal Again, Judwaa 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Kaabil, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Jolly LLB 2 and Secret Superstar are several films that did huge business and were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. However there were films which left the audiences disappointed. Films like Rangoon, Tubelight, Jab Harry Met Sejal are the films which underperformed at the box office. Talking about this month cover story we had the opportunity to chat with the gorgeous Sunny Leone who will be seen with Arbaaz Khan in the upcoming film Tera Intezaar. Also we met comedian Kapil Sharma who is all set to impress his fans with his next film Firangi. One of the greatest Music Director of Bollywood Rajesh Roshan Ji also spoke to us exclusively. Conversation with the legend was a life time experience. We hope December will end on a high as our very own Salman Khan will be back as Tiger this Christmas with his highly anticipated film 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The film will also mark the reunion of Salman and Katrina after a gap of four year. Team Bollywood Town wishes you a very Happy New year in advance. Keep loving us…

Warm Regards, Tarakant D. Dwivedi ‘Akela’

SOORAJ Pancholi will be moving into his parents' home to be able to spend time with them. The young actor has been staying by himself for 12 years, which has raised his maturity ahead of his age. Wanting to be closer with his parents, Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi, the talented actor will be moving into an apartment in the same building where his parents currently reside. Says Sooraj, “For me, true independence is all about taking care of my parents -giving back what they have done for me for so many years until I started working.” He adds, "I have been staying alone for the past 12 years, and it made me too mature for my years. I used to live with my grandparents since childhood and continued to stay in their house even after they passed away when I was 14. I want to spend more time with my parents and my sister now."

Still from film SIMRAN

Sunny Leone quickly became a major talking point in public when the news came that she had signed Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 which turned out to be debut bollywood film. Her last few films failed to create the magic that she expected for, but the actress hasn't lost her hope and is working even harder with lots of energy. After appearing in special dance numbers in films like Raees, Baadshaho, and Bhoomi this year, the sizzling actress is now looking forward to the release of her first film of 2017 titled 'Tera Intezaar'. In an interview with us, the very beautiful Sunny Leone spoke at length about her upcoming film, co-actor Arbaaz Khan, her daughter Nisha Kaur Weber and much more.

'Tera Intezaar' is your first film (lead role) of 2017, tell us what attracted you towards the film? When the director Rajiv Walia narrated the story to me I was blown away by my character and that is what attracted me towards story from the beginning. I was playing the central character in it and then I discovered that Arbaaz Khan was also going to be a part of this film. There were so many amazing things for me to do the film. I want to work with people that are fun to work with.

This is the first time that you are working with Arbaaz Khan tell us

about your experience working with him?Working with Arbaaz was an amazing experience. We had not met before, so we really did not know each other well before starting the film. But once we started shooting, we got along really well. We enjoyed each other's company, cracked joke and understood each other's sarcasm well, which was really nice.

How well can you speak Hindi now?I am not sure if I have become an expert in hindi, but I try to speak in Hindi as much as possible.

You adopted a child this year tell us how has your life changed after motherhood?Life has changed completely. I am so

excited every single day when I get up feeding her, training her and taking care of her. I know there are some parents that like somebody to do all that, which is completely fine because, you know, everybody has their own system. But Daniel and I had been wanting this for so many years, so we are ready for all this. Every single day is a joy.

Your director Raajeev Walia recently said that Sunny has given her best performance in Tera Intezaar. So, what different are you bringing to the table this time?I don't know if I am bringing something different, but I followed my director's vision. I want to believe that I am a good listener and I hope that I was able to give him the shot that he wanted. He knew exactly

what he wanted and needed for his film.

You have been in this industry since 5 years do you think you have evolved as an actress from your first film till now?Yeah! That I believe. How much in each film is something everybody has their own opinion about. But I love learning. I learn something every single day whether it is great or not so great. It may be something about myself; something about production; something about Bollywood or people. I think Arbaaz brings a lot about the industry. I was asking so many questions all the time and he would give me great advice and I took a couple of things which he suggested me.

In commercial movies like Raees and Baadshaho, we saw you in

special numbers with Shah Rukh Khan and Emraan Hashmi respectively. When do we get to see you as a heroine opposite a superstar?I don't know. Can you ask them that question? I am available.

One of the talking points of 2016 was when Aamir Khan said he would like to work with Sunny Leone. Are you doing any films with him?We stay in touch, just like friends you can say. I don't want to put pressure on people that I know. I think that is a weird thing to do. I am not like that. I am happy in my own space. I am working a lot. I feel I am very blessed. If working with Aamir happens in life, it would be amazing.

You have tried your hand at various genres film is there any

particular genre that you want to work on?I always love action; I love horror; I love psychological thriller and I love comedy also. There are some actresses who don't want to do a certain type of roles. I want to do all types of roles if I get a chance.

I learn something every single day whether it is great or not so great. It may be something about myself; something about production; something about Bollywood or people.

TABU doesn't really want to do an interview over the phone. Stuck in traffic somewhere in Mumbai, the 45-year-old actor would rather chat than answer inane questions about her choice of roles, hobbies, her singlehood, and so on. “I've been answering the same damn questions for years. Ask me something interesting, yaar, it'll make my day,” she says. Since Chandni Bar (2001), cinegoers consider Tabu “the thinking person's actor”, a tag she's happy to embrace. “Main toh woh hoon hi! I'm very happy that people think so, because so many of my heavy roles were unintentional. But what does it mean exactly? Do they consider themselves thinkers, or I'm an actor who thinks? But how do they know that for sure,” she says. So, Tabu's latest release, Golmaal Again, is not a film most of her fans would associate her with, but it has already become the second highest-grossing film in Bollywood this year. “It's actually a serious role. The film is from my perspective, I'm narrating the story, and I'm not in Golmaal team's comic space at all. For some time now, I've wanted to be a part of an established and successful franchise, to be a part of something so big — I wanted that

experience. I had reached out to Rohit Shetty before, and this time, he had something for me. Ajay (Devgn) is an old friend, and I knew the rest of them, so it was fun,” she says. Tabu's friendship with Devgn goes back to a time before numerology erased a letter from his last name. In 1994, they starred in Vijaypath, and they've done five films together, “six if you count Fitoor (2016),” she says. “What I like about him the most is that his core hasn't changed, what formed the basis of our friendship has stayed the same. I think it takes a lot for somebody to be so consistent in this industry,” says Tabu, who is known for staying away from the Bollywood social scene. “I show up for the Diwali parties,” she says. For long, Bollywood has considered Tabu a bit of a recluse, and while she hasn't actively contributed to her mystique, that viewpoint has offered her a way to be free of any expectations the industry might have once had of her. Tabu is only on Instagram because she likes taking pictures. “Tabutiful” is a woman who loves dogs, Roger Federer, Tintin, and happens to be an actor who appears in several magazine shoots. “I like saying

something through an image, I am interested in photography. It's not in my temperament to converse with so many people at the same time. So, I like to post pictures I've taken, and maybe some selfies too, because there's no pressure to engage,” she says. Tabu describes herself as “a little non-cinema” and as somebody who does not necessarily think about films as art or entertainment. “I'm not all that passionate about cinema, I'm not a student of the form. I want to do my work well, and that's the only RELATIONSHIP I have with the craft. I don't take cinema seriously, and that might be strange for people to know,” she says. Tabu is now shooting for Sriram Raghavan's next, Shoot the Piano Player, with Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte, that is slated for release next year. “I don't know what I'll take up after that. I'm always wired for something to happen, and I spend a lot of time thinking about my life journey. For me, cinema has always been about the people that I work with, they've had the most impact on me. I'm always secretly hoping to meet somebody who will make me see the world in a different way, and it's happened so many times.”

Can you describe your journey from Delhi to Mumbai?I started my journey in 1995 with a theatre group named Navketan in Delhi. After working with many senior theatre artists eventually I came to Mumbai. Here I did my first TV show 'Apradhi Kaun' in 2004 for DD National followed by Prakash Jha's 'Dil Dosti Etc.' where I had a negative track in that. Then after I did couple of more TV shows but last year's release 'Beiiman Love' with Sunny Leone actually given me some recognition in the industry. I was in second lead in this film. My next film is 'Portlouis' which is a thriller movie to be picturised in Mauritius.

What kind of character suits you the most according to you?People think that I'll be fit in

chocolaty boy kind of character. But I think I have little more to do beyond this. But yes, I am looking for a mainstream hero.

Since you are from New Delhi, given a chance would you like to join politics? If I will get a call from any political party then I can think of it but not on the cost of my film career.

Which Indian politician's character would you like to play in movie?Perhaps Rahul Gandhi. His real life character is interesting.

Do you think a story based on the real life of Rahul Gandhi can be a hit movie? Why not. People will definitely go and watch.

If you have been offered a gay character in lead with maximum possible exposure, what will be your decision?

(While laughing) depends on the content.. If it has a sense-full message then yes I can play that character.

Don't you think playing such character may have an impact on your personal image?Yes it may impact my personal image… but if the story is mind-blowing and having a strong message then I am OK with it.

DISNEY-Pixar's newly released Oscar offering COCO has been getting exceptional reviews globally and Indian critics have been calling it one of the best films of the year!

B-town celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Hritik Roshan and Manav Kaul along with their families went to watch the movie in theatres after hearing such positive reviews. Leaving with a smile on their face, they all seemed to have loved the story of Miguel.

Coco is poised to be the next Oscar Hopeful from the Disney-Pixar stable of Academy Award-winning movies.

After last year's stunning successes Inside Out and Finding Dory, “Coco,” promises to be Disney- Pixar's most culturally-diverse human family drama yet. It's about 12-year-old Miguel (Gonzalez), an aspiring guitarist from a rural Mexican town, whose family of shoemakers has banned music. Miguel gets transported to the Land of the Dead in Día de los Muertos, where he tries to reclaim his family heritage and return home with the help of trickster skeleton Hector (Bernal).

Kapil Sharma, who made his bollywood debut with Abbas-Mustan's comic-caper Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, is all set with his second films Firangi, which is also produced by him. The film which also stars Drishyam fame, Ishita Dutta is a period comedy-action drama film set in the year 1920. In a candid conversation the comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma Spoke about the film, his character and more.

is not a period lm:Kapil Sharma

Firangi

20 • BOLLYWOOD TOWN • December 2017 www.bollywoodtown.in

Tell us in brief about your upcoming film Firangi? There are many people who have the feeling that Firangi is a period film. Well, I would like to make it clear that Firangi is not a period film. We have woven a plot which is based in the pre-independence era. According to me, all Hindi films which revolved around pre-independence era focused on the dark side of the period. They showed atrocities, wars, and massacres. But our aim was different. We wanted to make a film which focuses on the normal life of people of that period. It is a story of those commoners who were more concerned about their daily bread and butter than the departure of the British from the country.

What character are you playing in this film?I am playing a character called Manga who is looking for work. After much struggle, he finally lands a job in the British police. He is elated beyond words. After getting the job, Manga is more than sure that now there will be no hurdle in his marriage with Sargi, a girl he is madly in love with. However, things get worse when her grandfather, who is a staunch supporter of Gandhi Ji and believer of his ideologies, rejects the marriage proposal saying that he cannot give his granddaughter's hand to a boy who is working for the British. He says he would like to marry his granddaughter with an unemployed boy rather than a British employee. Manga thinks that he should have tried marrying Sargi before trying for a job. He is confused and clueless as to what to do next.

So, Firangi is basically a love story, right? It's not just about the love story. The film starts off on a very light note where people are enjoying themselves, young girls and boys meet in marriages and fairs fall in love and all. But how the whole atmosphere of the film turns patriotic

producer of a film, many things are under your control and you can manage them accordingly. The only pressure that I had was that I was also doing a show simultaneously. Since I was the producer of the film, I had the liberty to manage shifts according to my schedule. Had I been working in some other producer's film, he would have put pressure on me to complete a certain amount of work before leaving. But here there were never such issues.

How did you manage shooting for The Kapil Sharma Show and Firangi at the same time? That was definitely a task. After shooting for the show, I would fly to Jaipur and from there to Bikaner by road, because the set of our film was erected in Bikaner. But I enjoyed the whole process. I like traveling, so that was fun. I had to miss out on my sleep though while shooting for my show and the film.

with a number of twists and turns is something you will see in the film.

How did Ishita come onboard as the leading lady of the film?Ishita was the choice of my director and casting director. When she was cast, I was out of India. When I returned, I came to know that she was doing the female part in the film. I was very happy because I had seen her work in Drishyam. The only doubt that I had in my mind was that she played a schoolgirl in Drishyam, so will she be able to pull off Sargi's character. But when I met her and saw her audition, I was convinced that she was the perfect cast for this role.

You are involved in this project as an actor and producer. What was the most demanding job while making this film – acting or production?Frankly speaking, there was no pressure as such. When you are the

Bollywood is the biggest reason that brought me back to India: Mohit Madaan

Define Mohit Madaan in a single line?Simple yet effective

You have spent majority of time outside India till now. Can you describe how was your life and journey outside India?I was born in Delhi. My parents migrated to UAE when I was just three years old. When I was 13 years old, we further migrated to New Zealand. I have been fortunate enough to have the exposure of three different countries.

Do you have any role model in your life?My father is the role model in my personal life and in reel life I like Shahrukh Khan & Amitabh Bachchan.

Why you wanted to be an actor?Ever since my childhood I used to

YOGESH [email protected]

make people laugh. Actors are always entertainers and I was always an entertainer.

Bollywood is the only reason that brought you back to India or anything else?Bollywood is not the only reason but yes, Bollywood is one of the biggest reasons that brought me back to India.

Your first movie 'Love Exchange' could not get that kind of recognition or exposure as expected. Any specific reason? It didn't get the exposure it was supposed to get. I think Bollywood is not just a creative place but it's a business as well. There is a fight for everything. Sometimes in one day 10 films releasing or even more. We had very limited screens that could be one of the reason but reviews were good.

Tell us something about you recent released Aksar-2?Aksar-2 is a very different film. It's a suspense thriller, murder mystery. I have played the character of Bachchan Singh.

How did you find Ananth Mahadevan as a director?I like his simplicity. He is a very straight forward thinking director. He comes from a different school because he has not taken any formal training. He learned everything in real life on job. He is very good and supportive director. Apart from director he is also a very good actor so he knows exactly the feeling of an actor.

How was your working experience with your co-star Zareen Khan & Gautam Rode? They are very comfortable person to work with. I learned a lot from Gautam

Rode. His everything is well organized which is a good quality. When I started working with them I could not feel that I'm working with well known actors. I felt like I'm working with my friends rather.

What else after Aksar-2?My next film is 'Ishq Tera' where Rishita Bhatt is playing the character of my wife in the film. The film is almost in completion stage. It may release in the first half of the next year.

Down the line five years from now, where would you like to see yourself?I would like to see myself much ahead of where I am today.

My parents migrated to UAE when I was just three years old. When I was 13 years old, we further migrated to New Zealand. I have been fortunate enough to have the exposure of three different countries.

Rajesh RoshanINTERVIEW

EXCLUSIVE

It would not be wrong if we could quote Rajesh Roshan as 'The King of Melodies'. Rajesh Roshan is one of the most lovable and respectable name in Indian music industry. His music has created history and has been loved and appreciated across the world. He has consistently given hit music for four decade starting from Mehmood's Kuwara Baap to the latest hit Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan. Constantly having his career graph high with hit songs in spite of flop films his songs were and are super hit. Blockbuster movie Julie (1975) has given him the real recognition in Bollywood and since then he never looked back. His hit movies include- Mr. Natwarlal, Yaarana (1981), Khudgarz, Khoon Bhari Maang, Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai, Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, Krrish-3 and the list goes on. In an exclusive interview with Yogesh Mishra he spoke about his upcoming musical show-“Roshan Se Roshan Tak” and many more…

Music is the greatest creation of God: Rajesh Roshan

Why did you choose 'Music' as a career option? My inclination was always towards music. There are many career options for every individual, like doctor, engineer, lawyer its your keen interest that makes you choose the right option. Music was and is very close to my heart and soul and you could say music is in my blood too. Can you define 'music' in your own words? Music cannot be defined in any particular way. Music is divine, it's the greatest creation of God in the universe. Music makes you feel relaxed and today music is also being used as medical therapy. Which incident or turning point proved to be the game changer in your career? There was no incident or turning point actually…I could say its all about destiny, if you are destined you would get it. So I think god had written music in my destiny. I never thought that I would become music director, I just kept on making tunes which I immensely enjoyed. I was completely lost in creating music and I got my first break in the film Kunwara Baap which Mehmood Sahab had produced and acted , and film Julie was my film to fame and recognition Julie (1975) was a super duper hit of the time. If you were not part of that film, then…?Then nobody can tell where I would be. Julie was in my destiny. God has already written the fate of everyone. Julie was written in my destiny. I am just no one without Julie. After giving many hits with established film stars, suddenly Roshan family took a chance on a new face Hrithik Roshan. Don't you think it could have been a big risk?I think you should ask it to Rakesh ji (Rakesh Roshan). I had no risk. I was just a music director. Rakesh ji had taken a very big decision of launching Hritik Roshan. His home was also mortgaged for the film Kaho

Na Pyaar Hai. The distributors with whom Rakesh Ji had good business deal in past backed out and were not ready to take the film. All said and done God was kind enough and hats off to Rakesh Ji for his guts of taking that risk and the film was a big block buster and a new star was born. What is your viewpoint on Hrithik Roshan as an actor?Hritik Roshan is a complete package I could say. He has that dashing looks, he has the right style, right body, perfect height and he is a great dancer too. Hritik has managed to maintain himself and has transformed himself as per the need of the script. Hrithik's debut film 'Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai' was a blockbuster. Your music played a big role in that. What you say?Giving music was my job. Rakesh Ji has put his heart and soul in the film, and I should say that due credit goes to Farah Khan for thinking of signature step and getting the best dance out of Hritik, Farah has done justice to my songs. Can you brief something about your upcoming musical show 'Roshan Se Roshan Tak'?Yes… ‘Roshan Se Roshan Tak’ is my first ever show in Mumbai which

this on the 20 of January 2018. The concert would have around 70 live artists playing some wonderful

songs of Roshan Sahab (Roshan Lal Nagrath) and my songs that has been loved and appreciated by music lovers. I rarely do any shows, I am eagerly looking forward to conduct this show as we have wonderful singers and musicians in this show. And I am sure that ROSHAN SE ROSHAN TAK show would be loved and appreciated by everyone. How the idea of 'Roshan Se Roshan Tak' came in your mind? This title (Roshan Se Roshan Tak) was suggested by someone I don't recall his name but definitely not given by me.

HI friends, we have reached the end of the year. Time went by really quick. One more year of dedicated contribution to the industry by all our artist and technicians. It is almost the end of the season , so let us review this years performances at the box office.

Top 10 blockbusters with their collection

1. Baahubali 2: A dubbed film from telugu has broken all time records and has crossed an unbelievable 500 cr mark. After Bahubali 1 the curiosity of who killed kattappa was alive in all viewers for almost more than a year!!

2. Golmaal Again: This comedy franchise has been kept alive for 11 years. This movie had no logic, only magic and crossed the 200 cr mark

3. Judwaa 2: There were some 8 - 10 scenes from Judwaa 1 that the director David Dhawan loved and that made him make this film for his son. Two suoer hit songs , "Oonchi Hai Building" and "Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara” gave the film a big lift. This film did almost 135cr and reached up the top 10

hits

4. Raees: Raees revolves around the rise and fall of a Gujarat-based bootlegger played by Shah Rukh Khan and an earnest cop played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.Gear up for a throwback to the great Salim-Javed blockbusters of the Seventies, where the hero grows up mid-action, every second line is meant to show off the character's swagger, a Helen song (Sunny Leone here) breaks the tension and action sequences compel you to whistle. This film crossed 135 cr

5. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha: Biwi paas chahiye toh ghar me sandaas chahiye. With this motto, Akshay Kumar sets out on a mission to hold a mirror to those who support open defecation in the name of age-old traditions and so called Indian culture. The director Shree Narayan Singh has shown us how our superstitious villagers, lazy administration and corrupt politicians have actually converted India into the world's largest shit-pond. This film did almost 134 cr

6. Kaabil: A predictable revenge saga of a man who loses his love. But the main protagonist is visually impaired. Filmi liberties have been taken for audience entertainment

just to portray the depth of feelings and what emotional disturbance can create when love is lost. The film crossed 125 crs

7. Tubelight: Salman Khan, Kabir Khan film gets its message right -- love conquers all -- but it is the messenger who fails.Well a lot more was expected from salman after a row of super hits. But nevertheless the movie still did a 121 cr

8. Jolly LLB 2 Jolly LLB: is a fantastic thriller drama which showcases the maddening reality of India, its judicial system Two things work very well in Jolly LLB 2. One is the screenplay's focus on extra-judicial killings by the police. The other is the return of Saurabh Shukla as the earthy and eccentric judge. A sequele which formally had Arshad Warsi had Akshay this time . The film did like 117 crs

9. Badrinath Ki Dulhania: Together, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are the best thing that could have happened to our screens. The beautiful effortlessness of their onscreen companionship brings a smile to our face.. Third movie together and did well. The movie collected around 115 crs

10. Baadshaho: starring Ajay Devgan did not have too many likes from critics. More was expected from this film. It did a decent 78 crs

Every year thousands of films are released. Behind every film there is lot of hard work and money involved. Film are all made with intentions to do well at the box office but like our destiny even movies have their own destiny. Some do well and others don't. But the hard work is on. We assure you the coming year we will work harder and bring you the best of films. All you have to promise is to take time and get entertained!!

BEAUTIFUL actress Sameksha whom we have last seen in POW (Prisoners Of War) is playing the role of gorgeous Olympia in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's (Swastik Productions) Porus one of the most biggest shows on Indian television. The production house have searched quite long for Olympia's role and finally zeroed on Sameksha. Sameksha who was already slim worked on her physique to look leaner. She says,"Queen Olympia is a beautiful character to play. She was a queen and was stunning. I wanted to look perfect for the role so I went into a special diet . Apart from the physical transformation I have also done voice modulation." Interestingly the introduction scene of Olympia is quite different and unusual. Sameksha adds,"In my introduction scene I will be raped by my husband Philip and the scene has been wonderfully directed by the

man behind this magnum opus show, Siddharth Kumar Tewary. I have done films in my career so I know how to enact that situation and it has been done in a very professional way. My director was also very happy that I have done justice to the role and the situation." One more thing Sameksha feels about this show that Porus will be a medium through which audience will come to know about world history." King Alexander was born because of his mother who wanted her son to conquer world.

Through ‘Porus’ the audience will get to know about world history: Sameksha

In my introduction scene I will be raped by my husband Philip and the scene has been wonderfully directed by the man behind this magnum opus show, Siddharth Kumar Tewary.

When and how you started your career in acting?I am basically from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. My whole family always encouraged me to sing and dance. I did my masters in classical vocal from Rajasthan University. Later I got married to Udbhav Ojha who's again a playback singer and music composer in TV and film industry. Though I started my TV carrier in early Nineties from the show called 'The sword of Tipu Sultan' and some anchoring works in Rajasthan DD channel, but I had to have a break as my kids were small and I didn't want to feel them ignored. Then I started again in 2006 and joined the theater group called Yaatri and started learning acting skills with the senior theater personality like Mr. Om Katare. After doing theater for two years I got a call from Ramanand Sagar Productions for their show Sai Baba on Star Plus and that's how it started and the journey continues with the shows like Saath Nibhana Sathiya, Sasural Simar Ka, Piya Basanti Re, Ramayan, Saubhagyawati Bhav, Angrezee mien Kahte Hain, Crime Patrol and currently I am working with popular TV serial Badho Bahu. What character are you playing in TV serial Badho Bahu?In Badho Bahu I am playing Badho's mother in-law. This story is inspired by the concept of women empowerment. My character is of a mother in-law, who comes from a very small town of Haryana and adamant to promote & encourage her daughter in-law to become a professional wrestler and for this purpose she's facing all the odds, let it be inside home or exterior world. How this serial can change the mindset of the people/viewers?This concept will definitely going to inspire the viewers regarding the women empowerment and not to prompt only daughters but daughter in-laws too. Since TV Serials are playing an important role in social reforms so, given a chance, would you like to

be part of any social activities in real life? With pleasure.... whatever I am today is because of the society and my viewers, I will be the happiest person on planate if I could pay back to them in any manner and I also appeal to my colleagues to come forward for social causes. I strongly believe that this is our sincere duty towards the society not any kind of favour. Recently one episode went where I address all women in village to not to restrict daughters and daughter ln-laws to only house hold work but let them study work out n stand on feet... don't restrict them to only Indian traditional dresses but let them use the dresses required for the particular work. In my serial my Badho's kurta was torn during training of wrestling because she was not allowed to wear other dress... I take stand and get her track suit. After being successful on small screen, what is next for you?I've done some commercials also out of them Asian Paints, Bharti Axa Life, Google and Yellow Diamonds were quite popular. In India every actor's dream is to feature on big screen and I'm not different that way. But I've my own reservations about the character and costumes. Keeping that in mind everything is welcome.Which TV Serial actually gave you the recognition in the industry?Though It's very hard to name any one as fame is a gradual process but I want to thank Rashmi Sharma for having faith in me and keeps casting me in lead roles in her different shows. Still I've to pick I'll choose Saath Nibhana Sathiya.

TIPS to the art of the proper handshake:

7:- The handshake should be approximately Two or Five seconds Long.8:- Be aware of your other hand. Ideally, your left hand should be visible and unclenched. Don't have your left hand in your pocket because this appears defensive.9:- Provide a comfortable distance between each other. When you are too far it makes it hard to reach in to complete a handshake. And if you are too close it becomes intimidating and you start to invade the other's personal space.10:- Be prepared if you know you tend to have sweaty hands. Carry a handkerchief and discreetly dry your hands and/or wash your hands before a meeting.11:- Use eye contact to engage the person the entire time of the handshake. Don't forget to smile to let the other person know you are friendly. That goes for the rest of your body language. Upright body posture is a must.12:- When a person receives a good

handshake, it gives the impression that you should be taken seriously. Furthermore, the goal is to make the other person feel welcome and that respect them and yourself.

Common Mistakes people Make *The person only offers their fingers.*May make a full connection but feels weak or they have such a strong grip it feels like you are being crushed. *Perception that woman are not allowed to shake hands and*Disconnecting hands too soon or holds hands for too long.

Notice the positive and negative associations affiliated with a handshake done right or conversely, wrong.*A Man's Weak Grip = Anxious and Shy*A Man's Firm Grip = Extraverted and Self-Assured*A Woman's Weak Grip = Introverted and Insecure*A Woman's Firm Grip = Confident and Assured

What your handshake really revealsabout your personality

1.) Keep your skin hydrated: This is probably a tip which every dermatologist would put a stamp of approval on. For all bodily functions to go on smoothly, water is a must. Sometimes when your body doesn't get enough water (from inside), it reflects on the skin in the form dry, flaky skin and numerous other skin problems. You must have heard this umpteen times, but mentioning it once more, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Water helps to flush out toxins from the skin and body.2.) Slather on the sunscreen: Dermatologists say that even if you are not stepping outside or even if it's a cloudy day, you should wear a good spf sunscreen with broad spectrum protection. Nothing damages the skin more than harmful rays of the sun. Harsh sun has a cascading effect on skin problems – it would accelerate the ageing process and result in age spots, hyperpigmentation, etc. A good-quality sunscreen is your only savior.3.) Cut down on junk food: I am being really boring here, but dermatologists proclaim that cutting

down on unhealthy junk food can help your skin a lot. You can have cheat days once in a while, but a healthy and balanced diet will show amazing results on your skin.4.) Pick up products according to your skin type: Always read the ingredients list before picking up a product for your skin. Avoid alcohol-based products for oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin types. Pick up products with glycerin and moisturizing ingredients for dry skin. Know the ingredients that are not suitable for your skin type and avoid picking up products with such ingredients.5.) Use clean towel for your face: You might not know but if you don't change your towels frequently, it might spread bacteria and create problems for your skin. Do not share your towel with anyone else. Keep it clean is the mantra for clear skin.

THE Black Swan star will return to birth city of Jerusalem, Israel in June 2018 to attend the ceremony, where she will receive the honour, which is awarded annually to "extraordinary individuals" for inspiring Jews through their professional achievements and commitments to the Jewish people and Jewish values. "I am deeply touched and humbled by this honour," she said in a statement. "I am proud of my Israeli roots and Jewish heritage; they are crucial parts of who I am. It is such a privilege to be counted among the outstanding Laureates whom I admire so much. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Genesis Prize Foundation, and look forward to

using the global platform it provides to make a difference in the lives of women in Israel and beyond."The £762,000 prize money will be donated to philanthropic programmes which promote women's equality in the Oscar winner's honour. The 36-year-old was born Neta-Lee Hershlag to an Israeli father and an American mother and moved to the U.S. when she was three years old. She remains a dual citizen of both countries, and even directed and starred in Hebrew-language film A Tale of Love and Darkness in 2015. Natalie follows in the footsteps of previous Laureates including Michael Douglas and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Leaving Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie was one of my biggest mistake: Brad Pitt

Natalie Portman to receive 2018 Genesis Prize

FANS who've been rooting for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston ever since their 2005 split may actually have cause for hope! Years later, Brad regrets leaving the Friends star for his now-ex Angelina Jolie, according to a leading portal.

Following his 2016 separation from Angie, Brad sobered up and sought therapy. And now, he's “in touch with emotions and his true self like never before,” the source says. And it seems like this self-awareness comes with some great realisations. “He has come to realise that leaving Jen for Angelina was one of the biggest mistakes of his life,” the source adds. “And while he's not in love with Jen, he realises how much he does love her. Brad keeps telling friends that he's seeing everything more clearly.” However, these realisations are obviously far too late. Jennifer has been married to Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux for two years now. And while Brad would “never dream of” ruining his ex's new marriage, he “would take a second chance at love with Jen in a heartbeat.” If they can't

be romantic partners, though, the War Machine star wants Jen to be his partner in other pursuits, In Touch further reported. “They worked well together” when they formed the production company Plan B in 2001, an insider close to Brad told In Touch. “He wants Jen involved again as he produces and develops more and more high-quality film and cable TV products.” That kind of professional partnership could pay off for Jen, too, since the insider states she wants in on “prestige projects” under his production banner. “She'd be beyond thrilled to win an Academy Award for Best Actress — something that's evaded both her and Angelina.” “He still considers Jen the love of his life,” the source concluded.

DIRECTOR Dedipya Joshii's debut film "SAANKAL (Shackle)" demonstrates how tradition can bring a drastic change in normal life. The ill effects of this tradition have been conveyed through this film- "SAANKAL (Shackle)".

The story of the film is of a village which is in middle of the Thar Desert,

and is surrounded by its own rituals, taboos & social obligations. Long before partition, some village councils passed ordinances after which a so called base born community banished girls from getting married in other communities but the choice of marrying girls outside their community was still open for boys, the idea behind this law was to maintain purity in their blood.

After 1947, India-Pakistan partition, many of these villages from India went to Pakistan, even then crossing borders and arranging marriages continued for a few years but due to government interventions a day came when they had completely lost connections with their relatives across the border. Consequently number of marriageable males went even lower for their girls. Now most

of those lived rest of their life unmarried or were forced to marry old men. By the time village councils felt the disaster it was too late.

Instead of uprooting the cause they passed another law in panic which was a solution in their view however it made the situation even worse. Now for the sake of keeping girls with the clan, mature girls were forced to marry male kids. Their belief was that in this way daughters of their community won't go outside; but kids like Kesar (11 years) & young girls like Abeera (26 years) became victims of this malpractice.

Chetan Sharma as Kesar delivered a great performance and a young girl Abeera who was played by Tamina Bhattacharya also played her part well. The director and his entire team have tried its best to convey the evil effects of this tradition through the film. Saankal is a film that is a classic example of strong content which cannot be overlooked.

DIRECTOR Deepak Shivdasani's Julie2 is a sequel of Julie (2004), starring Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor and Priyanshu

Chatterjee. This is a Bollywood debut film of south actress Raai Laxmi who is in lead role.

The story revolves around actress Julie (Raai Laxmi) who tries her luck in films for a lead role. Legendry actress Rati Agnihotri is playing the character of Julie's mother. During her journey Julie faces the situation where people asked her to compromise to get the roles in film. Knowingly or unknowingly she compromises and have been used physically by the various film makers and gradually it becomes the routine process for her film career. Even after tasting initial success she further

compromises for bigger and even bigger success. After getting name, fame and money when she started seeking love, she found her alone. She felt that people don't love her they just want her body only. This situation leads her to depression and that headed towards a complex ending of the film.

Some messages that come out from this movie are- 1.) Compromise is the easier way to enter in Bollywood not talent. 2.) Glamour world gives u frustration and hopelessness that leads you towards depression. 3.) Being an actress is not a respectable job. 4.) An actress is just a beauty for use and throw and not for love. 5.) Even after achieving success, you need to compromise for a bigger success. It is so poorly crafted that you will be disappointed from this film. From unnecessary extra close up shots to a plot that, well, doesn't exist- the film is mash-up of all things pointless. Till interval things seems little better but second half has completely disappointed.
