None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life at that point in time

But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me.

Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later

Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Acting Minister for Manpower, made the following comments at the bizSAFE Convention, 2009, "Currently, we have only over 4,000 trained WSH Professionals. My Ministry has projected that we need to grow the size of the local pool of WSH professionals to 19,000-strong by 2018". Getting a degree in this discipline will give you the first step in moving into this profession.

By 2018, we will see a larger pool of

    WSH Professionals catering to the

    increased demand for their services

    from Singapore-based companies

    placing a growing emphasis on

WSH. We are targeting to grow the

size of the local pool of WSH

    professionals to 19,000-strong by

    2018.

    My Three7-Year Itch

It is a relationship term - usually after 7

years people tend to re-evaluate their

relationship. There might be evidence that

it is now much shorter but the original

number 7 came from a time period where

the average marriage only lasted 7 years.
