The Transition Through Finding Our Chosen Genre:

INDIE POP

Initially our group liked the idea of an indie/ soul type voice. Explored different artist within what

we felt sounded indie/ soul and explored the qualities of them.

We then felt we should broaden our genre to Indie Rock as perhaps we could have a band, which we explored and

found quite interesting the amount of indie rock that our group listened to everyday.

Our group noted down all of these bands and listened to the music, however we felt we wanted to lean more towards

the more mellow side, meaning more indie and pop. We also decided that one of the Girls in our group would

feature in it to make shooting time much more efficient and so that the cooperation was easier and the rest easier in

general. Due to this, we then explored female indie artist without music video so that we could find our final song

choice.

Lorde- still sane ( this was one of the songs in our top three)

Meg Mac- Grandmas Hands (this was also in our top three

and one the honour of being our song choice.)
